I waited about an hour to get in after clicking the link right at the hour mark.
Once I got in I immediately selected the disc version, checked for Demon's Souls (souled out), and then grabbed a charging station. Went straight to checkout. Spent less than 5 mins once I got in.
Card was immediately charged.
Took like 15 mins to get my confirmation email.
Feels good to have that off my mind for now.

I wasn't seeing PS5's when I went through the queue. Just tried again on my phone and I'm now seeing PS5's available. Change the browser or device you are using to pre-order. If it tells you to go back to the device/browser already in use just close the current one out and wait a few minutes before starting fresh on another device/browser.

doh. I was working and didn't realize this was going on. by the time I noticed and sign in to their site it's already closed.

They are still there. I tried it on my phone, after trying on desktop and now I see them and can pre-order.

Luckily I got my pre-order somewhere else, but it makes me re think my loyalty to the PS brand.
I'm trying on my phone now and I keep getting the message that my unique queue URL is already in use. I closed all my browsers maybe 5 minutes ago. I'm gonna keep trying. Thanks for the info. There's hope after all.

That doesn't seem that bad, really. If they aren't outright cancelling your pre-order, big deal, you'll get the thing eventually.

Yeah, looks like it's just delayed or may be delayed. Looks like your's is a legit purchase and you should get one. Maybe not in the first stock though.

No need to be ashamed. Sure its a luxury item, but its a great hobby that offers unique experiences to everyone. From quarter munching oldies, to platformers and action games, to incredible rpgs and stories that have moved me to tears, I can't wait to see what the future may hold. Plus its fun being caught up in the zeitgeist. Glad you got the confirmation.

I'm looking and waiting for other places now. This better not turn into the 2006 Wii launch. I worked at Gamestop then, it was a nightmare getting one. Hell, the Xbox360 launch sucked too. Had my preorder paid and waiting just to hear: we preordered more than we got and are sold out,sorry. In the end got both, but it's frustrating for sure. I might just have to wait until next year

Looks like a lot of us have received that email. Not to concerned. I did book those days off but eh if it comes a few days late but the series X arrives on time I'll enjoy my time off either way. As long as it's not a cancellation I'm fine.

I ordered through Amazon for PS4 and had some issues, it sucked, but I think I was probably in the minority there. This will be the first time I have ordered direct from Sony.

At first I pr-orderd PS5 on Amazon but that just my insurance, the next day I was able to pre-order PS5 on my local EBgames and canceled my Amazon order.

I ordered the console, the headset, a controller, the charging station, a camera, and the remote but I didn't get the confirmation e-mail oddly enough. But if I check my order online it says I ordered everything.

I also did not receive a confirmation email. I can search using my order number. I guess time will tell. That said ordering from Sony seems more of a sure thing than from BB or amazon. Could also be wishful thinking.
