What they should do is another, much larger batch of Anniversary Edition since those seem to have sold like crazy. They could probably produce another 100,000 and they would sell out worldwide.

You still have over 2 weeks before launch.Going to sell tomorrow my PS5 to a guy for 320€ (Nioh2 included), here's the thing though : there are no disc drives available whatsoever - I still have CB2077 D1 edition, Armored core 6 D1 edition and Nier Replicant to finish, although, since I'm mostly digital this gen, I don't think I really need the drive but...it'd be a shame to keep those games not being able to play them or, sell them for a pittance at GameStop (they give 10 for AC6, 7 for CB2077 and 3 for Nier Replicant
Also, I don't know where to preorder from, Amazon changed the delivery date from November 11th to November 7th here in Italy and then there's always GameStop.
I've yet to be disappointed with Amazon so I'll most probably go with them but I don't know how good they're with their preorders, hmmmm...

Brother, the reason for being on the fence is that these are going to be some long 18 days without a console and I'd hate to be left with my dick hanging come the 7th if one of the shops don't deliver - something which I don't find it to be out of the realm of possibility since I've read many times that Amazon are not that good with their pre-orders (especially in the USA).
I should have told the guy that I'd deliver him the PS5 in a week or so but I just decided against it in the end since there's going to be an avalanche of used PS5 in the market getting closer to the Pro's release and then there's the fact of the upcoming Black Friday deals which got leaked so better be safe than sorry...
Off-topic, wtf am i going to do these 18 days ? maybe those Epic store redeemed games will finally come in handy and then i always have my tablet where i could do some retro gaming (?)

Got a email from Amazon yesterday. A friend told me today to check my order. I checked if y got any email from Amazon and saw it. Telling me the delivery date the 11. Customer Service told me there is no delay and the item will release de 7th.

I think you can have concerns around pricing, especially that region. But to wish for it to fail? Too extreme for me as gamers will be enjoying it.
Do you have Prime? I have it and still being delivered November 11th. The website and customer service told me it´s going to release on November 7th.
My Amazon order says the 11th too.
