In the UK, our only hope is SOR terms. Fingers crossed, after the initial sales if stock becomes sticky and passes 60 days aged it will start to enter liquidation at retailers. This is where your high street retailers will start to apply pressure to distributors to get stock moving. If it enters 90 days then support will need to be applied from somewhere.

But, if all stock rotates nicely and nothing hangs around we are out of luck in the UK.

Like many have said. With the current shipping issues in the red sea and lack of containers, these launch units have been on the sea for around a month all ready.

Against my better judgement, John Lewis. They can be poor for returns. But they give 2 years warranty as pointed out by another user on here. Its confirmed that it will be DPD they use with an hour nominated slot on day of delivery too. I could have stayed with Amazon and whilst I trust them. I know on high value items like laptops etc, you can wait weeks to have the return processed.

John Lewis have already taken my money, so at least I know all that's sorted in advance too.

The BOM in this thing alludes to them making a profit. They can't do it at $600 imo.

PS5 Slim hit shelves early November last year. By Black Friday it was $50 off + Spiderman 2 bundled in.

They most likely won’t follow the same trajectory for the Pro, but it’s likely there’d be a bundle deal later in the year.

I’m not waiting for that…I always get my consoles day 1. But there will eventually be deals to be had.

Same here. 2 year warranty is gold. Not bothered about returns to be honest. It either works or it doesn't. If I get a real lemon am sure I will be able to return it somehow maybe Mr electric pays a visit

That's why I cancelled my order with PS Direct and bought it through Best Buy. Also opted to pick it up at the store because I've had issues with UPS, Fedex, etc. lately. Besides, Best Buy is about 5 miles away and I can pick up the Pro when they open rather than having to look out for a delivery truck all day.

I wanted to sell before a rush of consoles go on used marketplaces. Sold my day 1 disc edition for $500 CAD. Almost covers half of the $1137 i’m paying for the Pro and the addition of the disc drive.
