Factoring the price and the aesthetics of the console, this is one of Sony's worst console reveals they've ever had. At least this is only a pro version so people can just skip it. But I'd say that price, plus buying stand and disc drive(if you want both for your setup) we're talking probably close to $900 after taxes. Good god.

Interesting choices.

One of the worst reveals ever. Sony has lost its touch. I enjoyed the PS4 pro reveal much more. They had games to showcase. Not cross gen games, but brand new demos running at incredible resolutions. This felt half baked, and while the hardware is ok (fidelity modes at 60 fps), the price is insane. no disc drive? Are you fucking microsoft? Completely delusional.

$700 plus tax, plus $80 disc drive means it will be over $850. Thanks but no thanks. i will just spend an extra $150 and upgrade to a far better GPU. What a huge misstep by sony.
