Worst presser since Wonderbook. Bugsnacks. You don't sell a many-hundred dollar premium console with Bugsnacks ffs.

I'm hoping for a miracle at this point.

People in this thread suddenly realising that a games console isn't an 18+ restricted product and can actually be used by kids...

Sounds like you should be a PC gamer. If I mostly played third party games I wouldn't bother with consoles. Unfortunately Sony and Nintendo first party games are a huge chunk of my favorite games each generation so I have to buy those consoles.

PS4 did have a terrible launch. Xbox One as well. Regretted early adopting as I played last gen stuff most of the first year to year and half of this generation. I'm seeing a lot more that appeals to me here, assuming most of this is out in the first year or so.

I have a PC, a Switch and a PS4 and a Vita. All Sony and Nintendo consoles. I play everything. The truth is that most Sony games are okay these days, but not really great. The only Sony exclusive I have in my top for this/last gen is Bloodborne. I guess Nioh might count as well (though it released on PC 6 months later), though it was a game that slowly convinced me after putting it off for a while and it's been overall not so well received by a lot of the Souls demographics. It honestly didn't have much pull after the pre-release "demo", but it did grow on me to bring it up.

Nintendo is good for first party and they've really done well with the Switch. Sony... eh... varies and they're usually really late in the generation, so investment early isn't worth it on exclusives alone.
