Are they going to sell you the digital games cheaper? It not you're fucking yourself getting that digital console. They don't want you to have access to all of the used PS4 and PS5 games you can buy off Ebay and Amazon.

Yeah, show wasn't really any more impressive than xbox's. Just a bunch of games that look like upgraded versions of present-gen consoles, and even the more impressive ones like HZD2 didn't had any gameplay shown.

No SOCOM. No Killzone. No FPS at all. I'm shocked tbh. If Kids and women were their target customers they killed this show. Good luck selling 500.00+ PS5's on that premise alone. As someone who has had every Playstation I went from day one purchase to no interest day one. Doubt I'm alone in that. Sony has their work cut out for them if these were THE games they wanted to make a first impression with the PS5.

This show did lack a fighting game. I was not expecting this amount of games for the show since I thought the show would only show like less than 10 games with a focus on gameplay and showing how pretty the games would be.

Horizon, Spider-Man and GT7 are the games for me. Horizon blew me away I can't wait to see more now!
Kena is the one that looks most intriguing to me. That art style and world looks so fun!
I also liked the look of Returnal, Stray, R&C, Athia, Godfall and Hitman 3.
Intrigued by Jett, Little Devil and Solar Ash.
I absolutely love the look of the console! Big congrats to Sony for such a radical design and also for what I believe pulling it off so damn well!
Also while I wish I could go all digital in Aus it's not really an option so I'll be going disc based system which will be more expensive I'm sure but damn how good is that! A digital only console. If I can buy keys or something from retailers instead of needing disks I'd almost consider it I just don't like being stuck with the PSN only prices of digital.
Overall I think it's been an extremely successful reveal. Something for everyone and while it's not all for me it all looks incredible and I'm really surprised by all the new IP. No big third party sequels in thisvideo at all really which is amazing to consider!

It'd be interesting if All-Digital version is the same price with an expanded SDD. I mean I doubt it but who knows right now. I'm tempted to snag it as I mainly go digital in just about everything, my shelf only has like 7-10 PS4 games, most from the launch period and the rest where collector's editions later.
I thought the show was pretty good, some slight "filler" with the indies but I still enjoyed myself. I though many of the games looked good, some great. Its kind of a shame too, as older gens where notorious for cg hype and few can compete with the budgetary likes of Guerrilla Games and their wizardry. In my opinion its going to be a pretty big split between AAA and lower budget "artsy" games going forward. Whether people give them a chance is another story, though I will.

That said I don't think MS is shaking in its boots. Sony wasn't even brave enough to lay out the price. I'm guessing $500 for the cheapest model.

They have not explained at all how external drives or additional storage will work.....will there be super fast ssd cards......what happens if you use std hdd on the ps5? .....their messaging is so far behind how open and transparent they were with the ps4

This show turned out to be a disappointment in all honesty, we where told we would see experiences only possible on PS5.... I dont know it all looks so familiar to everything else we have seen on PC and even the previous gen!
Best part of the show was Resi 8, Demon Souls not having any gameplay either is very disappointing
