PSN Content 09/06/07 (Stranglehold & NBA Live demos, Motorstorm & NG Sigma DLC)

This has nothing to do with this weeks content but I just wanna say that you should all download Super Puzzle Fighter:D. Me, Bob and Sutdawg were up to 2:30 am puzzle fighting each other. Voice chat really would be nice though :(.
 
I just tried both the stranglehold demo and the nba live 08 demo.

Stranglehold: i didn't like it. First, the camera is place in the back of the player almost making you blind since the main character takes up half of the screen. Also the game is too easy and can become too repetitive after a while.

NBA LIVE 08: The game was decent. That is, until it started to stutter badly, i thought that the framerate problem would last just a few seconds, but it never returned to a playable state so i had to simply quit the game. The framerate problems are atrocious.
 
Does anyone know if the Summer Skin add on for the JP Piyotama works on the NA version? I don't want to end up installing something that doesn't work. lol

I only noticed the FPS drop when inbounding the ball. It was very bad, even in glorious 480p!

I downloaded it and it registered it to my system as Piyotama (In English) under the Game Data folder, but I couldn't figure out how to enable it. So no luck.

Should show up in the game Options. If it doesnt then it's not compatible.
 
I'll be very annoyed if FIFA 08 doesn't really appear again. I need me some next gen football!

About Stranglehold, yeah, you can get dual Submachineguns in the last area of the demo (Scaffolding area, on a wall in an enclosed area behind a weak fence) but if you want to use it in a fight, you'll have to dodge gunfire and grab it :lol

Also, the "NBA Live Slowdown" is really odd, it does sort itself out after a bit though.

New GT5P promo video on the JP PSN, it's footage from Leipzig. The "new" footage we've seen already (but obviously not this quality) added to the Tokyo PlayStation Event footage.

It's not anything new to be honest, but it's still worth it to download. :D

Earlier shots of Saint's Row had the same thing going on with the transparencies, so I have no idea.

Also.. just confirmed with SOE that Poker WILL definitely still have video support (just not at launch).

Sounds like the Vision Cam situation with the 360...once it came out, the patches rolled for many old games to support it. Can't wait for the Eye to be released. :D
 
Hey another lupin!

I downloaded this yesterday at my roommates request, and there was no option to select it so I guess it doesn't work.

If my friend starts screaming, I will let you know that it broke the game but so far I think it still works :)
