I'd recommend the adapter route. You can find 8 GB microSD cards for about that cost and 4 GB for less than half.Schrade said:

This was the bundle I got since I wanted the adapters and so I can personally recommend that one as working on the PSP, but I probably could've found it by itself and saved some dollars.

I never had to use a Pandora Battery for my 2 PSP's(1 mine, the other my brothers) both are 2000 series. 100% serious and not bsing at all. All I needed was 1 application and that's allGuess I found it by luck!
JoshuaJSlone said:Bookr for PDFs, PSP Comic for CBR/CBZ. I think the most recent versions are 0.7.1 and 1.0.0, respectively.
I didn't think to mention this before since it was the first version of bookr I'd ever used, but apparently until recently it didn't directly work on the latest firmwares, but required the optional 1.50 kernel. So maybe you got the old 0.7.1? Searching Google for the filename I downloaded, looks like I got it here.5il3nc3r said:I cannot get Bookr working. I put it under the \PSP\GAME folder as per the readme but it does'nt show up. I'm on cfw 5.00 M33-4.
jmonteiro said:I finally decided to install the CFW (5.00 M33-4) on my phat PSP just to replay the Resident Evil series (RE1, 2 and 3).
I ripped and created the rom images using RS-GUI POPStationMD v3.0 (as described on the OP) but none of the 3 games loads past the PlayStation logo. They just "hang" there and the only thing I can do is press home and quit the game.
Any ideas what am I doing wrong? I followed the instructions step-by-step but did not install the POPSLoader or any of the OFW POPS. Do I need to do that too?
spindoc said:Yes, but not directly. Using RemotejoyLite, you connect the PSP to the PC via USB, and you can configure any gaming pad to work along with it.
kittel said:yup =P. Mike, google btsix ;-)
linkboy said:All POPSLoader does install the different emulator files from the different firmwares and allow you to run them on different firmwares (they are the official POPs).
Different games work differently under different firmware versions (FFVI for example won't load saves on anything other than 3.03). I do know that RE2 had some issues on certain firmwares where it would crash at the police station before the licker attack.
Another thing, the program used to encode the games can also cause some problems. Not every program converts exactly the same. I use PSX2PSP and I've had no problems with it.

After reading the recent 'Snatcher' thread, I've been meaning to play this game again (played it several years ago on a friend's sega cd).
Many thanks.

CloudV said:Does anyone know if custom firmware (be a bad flash or something) can break a button?
Somewhere along the lines of upgrading over the last few years my R button has stopped working.
Now, I know its not broken or dust, because it only doesnt work when playing psp games that Ive made from my discs, or that Ive purchased through PSN. I can hold down the R button to access the recovery menu when starting the psp, and while playing a game, if I put the game in sleep, hold down the R button, and then turn the psp game back on, itll work maybe half the time, for a little bit.
Currently, its working about 10% of the time with no problems, and then randomly itll stop working. Its frustrating the hell out of me on some games (no running in RPGs!) but Im not sure what to do.
My PSP is a model 1000, bought on release date 12/12/04 in good old snowy tohoku.
I did the 1.5 hack with GTA back in the day, and switch over to Alexs firmware along the way.
Im currently running the latest firmware (5.00 m33-4?) that I updated using the custom network update (which as an aside corrupted all my regular psp saves..)
Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.
spindoc said:I can't really think of anything, but check your IDstorage keys using ChillyWilly's KeyCleaner. Latest version out there is 1.4. Some of your IDstorage keys relate to physical functions in the hardware, and its possible to have a few bad keys due to an "unclean" downgrading.

....Works fantastic, I notice no difference whatsoever. Two 8 gig MicroSD cards ($17 each).
Awesome stuff.
Wish I had found it before I splurged on the 8 gig Sony Stick for $45.As you can see it formats to an even 15GB.

You can get one of these:bryehn said:Is there any way I can get a bit of charge in this thing without going out and blowing $20 on a new charger?

kamorra said:Yeah, I also use it with two 8GB (class 4) cards. According to BlackSPEED v2.0 it's slower then my 4GB Sony MS but it doesn't feel slower in game. Can't wait for 32GB cards.

there is NO other way of than to use a pandorabattery if I have the first PSP modell that came out and with firmware 3.9?
Can you do the Network Update on 3.90 M33-3 to go to 5.00 M33-4?
