Had no idea there as a thread for attendees. I was looking for someone who was willing to share a room, but I think I got that covered. If all goes well I'm down to hit up the GAF meet and greet.

I meant literally, dropping $500 on last minute tickets from Seattle. Plus Hotel, Transport, food cost etc.

Doesn't seem like much, but for a college student like me, it's like me year's budget. lol

I think GAF meetup plans are set.

Saturday Evening at 3535 in The Linq Hotel and Casino. Lots of stuff we can walk to in the Promenade should we want to crawl some or the place is swarming. Never been to Vegas before. Doing my best here.

Time wise what does everyone think? 8pm? 10pm? Convention goes until 10pm that night but we might want to start before the Rodeo lets out. If we knew the damn schedule.

Any opinions.

Also who plans on attending the meetup?

Sid Shuman is a Senior Manager, Digital Communications at PlayStation. Those are absolutely legit. Sony is papering this thing like crazy.

Awesome! I just find it so odd that no information has come out yet about the schedule or floor plan. The Metal Slug news specifically mentions where to find SNK on the show floor, but it's not like we have any context for that. Ha!

Just got my wristband (and ticket for a gift bag!). Just so you guys know, several of the panels will take place outside the Sands expo halls. They're using rooms A-D in the Palazzo Ballrooms. It's about a three minute walk from the Sands - exit the Sands and turn right at the escalators, then take the escalators or adjacent elevators up to floor 5. Turn left at the hallway then head all the way down and turn right to get to the ballrooms.

So upset! Recently my wife and I had our first child! A beautiful little girl! Because of this I picked up a 2nd job on the weekends and a few nights during the week.

With the 2nd job, I work this Saturday and will be unable to watch the keynote and thus unable to purchase/ preorder the 20th anniversary console. I heard it will be preorderable/ purchasable there.

Might sound silly but I am truly devastated that I will be unable to get this. Anybody have any ideas??? Aside from paying ridiculous prices on eBay.

And yeah, there are a ton of good restaurants in the city. We could probably have a 'farewell' dinner at Yardhouse at The Linq on Sunday night.

The Game Awards.

Whatever we do for a meetup, may I request we do something that would also have some vegetarian/vegan options. So, something like a steakhouse might not be the best choice for those with alternative diets, for example.

And I just touched down in Vegas! "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." Well, let me tell you, _no one_ is going to know how hard I am gonna crash when I get to my hotel!

-VR panel (12:30pm)
-Bloodborne panel (5pm)
-Last of Us MP panel (6:30pm)
-No Man's Sky event (9pm)

There are a few other panels I'm on the fence on. Anyone with similar interests? Let's hang out!

I think we'll have to agree on a time to do this, which I am all for. I just don't think it would be very respectful for anyone else that shows up early if we just had a stream of line cutters.

I think so, though it is tough to say. 8:00 AM should be the absolute latest anyone lines up to ensure good seats. 7:00 AM would be a great time. And anything earlier increases the personal assurance of a great seat.

I would guarantee it. With swag and all that convention-type stuff, it would be foolish if not.
