...what is data analysis, Alex.

Scientists have mountains of data to analysis and see trends. It’s much different than daily weather. I will say that the global climate crisis has become political and some reports have got it wrong.

It is an issue but not as prevalent as some extremist make it out to be. It doesn’t me we shouldn’t discuss it and work to stop it before it gets worse.

And if we see wrong and it’s all a conspiracy so what? We end up making the world a better place as we learn to live in a more symbiotic way. There is nothing wrong with that.

That's what gets me most about climate conspiracy theorists.

The *worst* scenario is we end up creating less pollution and sustaining our planet for a longer time. Oh no! What horror.

Your missing the point entirely. The point is they are wrong annd keep changing things to fit their narrative.
I'm pointing out your fake quote and I'm the one missing the point? "Fake but accurate" is not a good philosophy.

The fact that you need to make Al Gore's words sound worse than they actually are is a red flag that you have your own narratives to tell as well.

I'll take an informed guess over a completely baseless hope that it'll all work out "somehow."

The stakes for being wrong here are pretty high and there's not a lot of evidence for the "It'll be fine" scenario.
That is a great response and I can understand it.

I have other reasons for the it will all work out scenario but that is a whole different discussion.

Give me break Greta.

Al Gore was wrong is the point but I can see that is to difficult for you to understand and you have no real defense against what I said so you nit pick over a meme.

There is A LOT of money that goes towards climate change groups. Trillions of dollars every year. Money is what gives humans stability and freedom with their lives. Of course there should be efforts to clean up the environment and move towards renewables where it makes sense, but the question is HOW MUCH money should we be funneling towards climate change instead of using that money in other helpful ways? And do we know exactly how it's being used? And the biggest question of all, how much exactly are humans impacting the situation and is it dire enough? There's a lot of gray area out there regarding all of these questions.

So yeah, this argument doesn't work. Money is kind of important. There is a sacrifice we're making.
