Damn I still havent played the new one. My buddy's lil brother is the only person I know with a Wii U, but I havent been over their house in a dog's age. Might have to make an appearance.
It's currently my game of the year, so if you are on good terms with your buddy's lil brother, I recommend trying it out. It improves on the vast majority of my issues with Brawl.
Why is getting a job so much fucking hard work
You have to spend ages looking around for something you can do (not that you want to do, just that you have the skills to do), then you give up, go tot he job centre and get sorted out there.
Then they have you jump through so many hoops that turns looking for a job into even more of a job than it was
Then you find a job, apply to it, get the interview, all great
Then you go down to a different city to sort the paperwork out and because you don't have a passport you need a birth certificate and because your mother bought the shitty short ones and you keep getting confused you take that one down like you did the time before and then get told "lol noob, wrong one" then have to spend another £6 on train fair just to take the right one (which was literally next to the one you took just in a shitty envelope!) in just so they can say "looks legit" and tick a box.

You get used to debasing yourself in the job market, don't worry. Then you find a good job (hopefully) and stick with them for awhile and get experience and raises and you have a much better time searching for your next job after that.

Hey, anyone know where I can find free pdf or ebook textbooks? The list reddit has worked for me in the past, but I can't seem to find any of the textbooks from my upcoming semester on any of the suggested sites. Fuck.

I might just have to. I've been pretty pissed of that my professors hardly ever refer to the textbooks they expect we buy, so I've resorted to... Other means. Just in case. However, my first class of the semester got canceled and I got an email with an assignment the dude wants for the following class. For the first time in my college career, he lifted that assignment out of the textbook I don't have. Balls...
Did you check the library's database to see if they already have the ebook?

Another thing to check is if the library has physical copies of the textbooks for classes. I dunno if that's an option for you or not, but if they have a reserve program then they'll have at least a copy of each required text for every class available for use within the library.

They do have this. I may just resort to doing my homework in the library this semester to save money. I'll see how my first classes go to see if I'll actually need them in class.

Put my cat down today. She had diabetes, was old and needed expensive surgery. I'm more upset than I expected, since we were not very close. I wish I had been a better owner to her. I didn't give her enough attention. I was her favorite, she laid on my bed all the time and room.
Took a selfie with her before she was taken away. I looked like shit more than usual since I had been crying a little. Had to force a sort of smile.

In other news, took my sick daughter to the doctor, got her on antibiotics, but the doctor, being my personal doctor too, said 'I looked unwell.' and wanted the check me out too.
I'm off my RA meds for at least a week. >.< FML. On antibiotics now and fighting a fever apparently. Ugh.
Which is hilarious in conjunction with my gif, of course.
Speaking of doctors, I went to see one today for this cough that's lasted a week past me actually being sick. It somehow led to the doctor thinking I have sleep apnea. I dunno how he got to that conclusion since poked his head in for all of two minutes (I spoke to the nurse the entire time), but they wanna send me a test kit. =|

No, but I stubbed the little dickhole Sunday night and the swelling/pain/discoloration have yet to go down. I took last night off from running but had to knock out a 10k tonight.

Player decided ilvl requirements in WoW are dumb. How is anyone (without a good guild) supposed to get a higher ilvl if you keep rejecting their applications to run an appropriate raid? Heroic dungeons only drop up to ilvl 630 loot, and LFR raids can only be looted once a week... Got only gold? Better luck next time, pal.

You should try out Finnish traditional things like going to sauna and after that swimming in the hole in the ice and then back to sauna. Repeat couple times and once in a while you can also go roll in the snow. I am not even making jokes, this is a real deal and I have done it numerous times.
Also yes, it can be really pretty. Here are couple photos taken around five minutes walk away from where I live. They aren't that current though, but still. I really like the area. ^_^
