Looks like female hands to me.
Uh, he's not wrong, your average guy has some hair on the back of their hand and leading up their fingers. There's not even hair near the wrist. His point is that there's nothing definitive about the character based on that shot.
look at the details on the revolvers, maybe they released this rather odd screenshot to tease first person mode instead of a female character?
and about the shaving part i don't understand, do you have such hairy hands?looks pretty normal for a male hand to me
I have to disagree, there are several proof pictures that show Rockstar put out bullshot pictures, especially in the wood parts where they showed lots of vegetation
and also this:
Top is final game, bottom is from trailer

Confession time: I've never played a Rockstar game.
I intend to remedy that as soon as this comes out. Looks outstanding.
Though I still fully expect the game to run at 4K on Scorpio.
The details on the knife, holster etc. are just incredible.
This guy has to be one of the main protagonists.

same guy?

People calling these screenshots "soft"... meanwhile it looks like every damn blade of grass is sharply resolved at full size. LOL
Even picking some less hairy hands, usually there's some, especially when they're the size of the moon:
I'd say we got our eyes on the main protagonist here. Appearing in multiple screenshots and in the trailer. Hat is identical with the rope wrapped around it that is torn up on the back. Might be an early visual of the character, similar the changes made to John Marston throughout development.
So, when is it set? The year that RDR was set in was chosen specifically for the story of the dying West in the face of technology.
I beleive the shot of him close up on the horse is in Blackwater. You can see a sign in the back left that looks like it says Blackwater if it wasn't blocked. And there was def a doctors office in Blackwater in the first game
why are we talking about hands?
man the wait continues. 1 whole year fuckkk
I hope the presence of dual-wielding means they've taken cues from Max Payne 3 when it comes to gunplay.
I don't think the guy talking about the PS2 GTA "detail" meant graphic detail.
It is actually true that the old GTA games have a lot of detail, as in actual simulation of various "details". The sort of stuff like moving a car under a water geyser and see the water stop.
So it's also true that a game like Horizon has high graphic detail, but it's all relatively passive backdrop. You cannot do much with the environment beside walking through it. You can only interact with the "actors", like NPCs and creatures.
