What?

Wookieepedia said:
In 9 ABY, the insane clone Jedi Master Joruus C'baoth performed a mind trick on Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn's subordinate, Captain Gilad Pellaeon, ordering him to make a special clone for him. The clone that later became Luuke Skywalker was grown in secret from sample B-2332-54, the sorting code assigned to Luke Skywalker's hand.

OH. LMAO.

It was better than the Clone Wars we eventually got. The Sequel Trilogy that kicked off the EU (now booted from canon) said that the Clone Wars happened because scientists discovered cloning, and after seeing it work a few times without incident, they tried to clone Force-sensitive Jedi, but since cloning is a crime against god/nature, the Force got confused to see a bunch of people running around not following their destinies, and exposure to "confused Force" eventually drove the Force-sensitive insane. So the Clone Wars were about putting down an army of rabid Jedi (note: George Lucas gave no input on this, likely because he hadn't invented his idea of the Clone Wars yet).

The Sequel Trilogy was to involve Luke going up against the last of the insane Jedi clones, which was a clone of Obi-Wan Kenobi (dun dun duuuun). George Lucas saw this part and said "Hell no! That's blasphemy! You can't drag poor dead Obi-Wan back into this." So Clone Kenobi got a name change and became Joruus C'Baoth (uu's slurred because zombie).

It's only logical to get some Luke cloning action up in there. I'm surprised Lucas allowed it. He was probably paying less-than-zero attention.

Don't forget the longstanding rumors about Mike being a huge racist. Which are clearly not true, of course, but hey, internet.

I thought "Third Reich Mike" was just a stupid joke? Do some people take it seriously?

I think it started when that Garrett dude who used to work with Mike pre-RLM said that Mike was "kinda racist". And specifically, not in an overt or even intentional way, but "you can tell he grew up around it".

It's probably not true, and even if it were at the time, that was years and years ago. People change and grow up, and there's nothing about Mike now that would imply to me that he's racist in any sense of the word.

when are they gonna do a hateful 8 half in the bag

I'm interested in what they think about it. I was really excited but I didn't like it as much as I hoped. As much I love Tarantino, I had given some shit about the ridiculous tone changes that come in in his last few movies. I thought the tone changes near the end of Django worked but didn't work in 'Bastards'. H8ful8 didn't really have that massive tone change but I didn't find the story as interesting. I also didn't like how (general spoiler)
the movie tries to play itself as being some kind of mystery when it really wasn't

And then the LORD David Bowie saith to his Son, Jonny Depp: 'Go, and spread my image amongst the cosmos. For every living thing is in anguish and only the LIGHT shall give them reprieve.'
Oh, was Mike actually being a drunk baby on the giant flask episode? I just always assume it's acting.

I laughed every time the Price is Right horn played in the Vader suit video.

What a shitty life. Vader must have been feeling some intense hatred in order to want to stay alive.

IIRC, they started with Half in the Bag where they'd watch movies sober in the theater, and then drink in the studio while filming. Their collection of empty-bottle props was legitimately what they drank, they just started keeping all of their empties to use as props to make it look bigger than it really was.

Jack confirmed during some of their Pre Rec streams that he drinks casually while playing videogames, because people in the chat have asked him for details of what exactly he's drinking.

They drink while watching six hours worth of bad movies for BotW, and then drink more while sitting around for another few hours talking about them. I think they said that the Star Wars Holiday Special was the drunkest they've ever been on the show.

AFAIK, Jack's wife doesn't like it when he comes home drunk, so he doesn't drink irresponsibly. Rich Evans is concerned about his health, so he's trying to clean up his act. Jay doesn't seem to go crazy with it. Mike is the real boozehound of the group, and it's only gotten worse since Jessi ran off to Venezuela.

I thought we heard her voice recently in the background in one of the episodes. Like a month or two ago at most.
