After Phil interview a few days ago, I stopped stressing about this. I can get that what he said was divisive for most people, but it made sense to me. They were in a bad position, could not cancel it and trusted Arkane to do the job. This I knew it before the interview. But hearing Phil talk I got a theory. In this case, and maybe in others, I feel like they were
patrons, and not a corporation wanting to get money. Like they got a creative studio wanting/stuck trying to make a game, and let them continue working on it. When it was clear that Redfall was not ready, they push it back. But there is a limit to how much money they can loose on charity, so they let the game ship in May. I know that many will mock me for this. But I have no other explanation. I let it go. If Starfield had the same problem, I hope that I will be able to accept it too.
