let me say it AGAIN. I am a hornets fan, not kings, i have no opinion on the kings. When that game happened i pulled for the Lakers, i like Kobe, exciting player. I like Shaq, great center. the game was rigged, accept it, this guy is testifying as such and if you cant see how lopsided and unfair that game was than others, than really there is no helping you.

There is no evidence besides the testimony of a guy who is about to be sentenced on felony charges. The game may have been called poorly at times, but there's no real evidence that it was rigged.

ahh no, not at all, he's not passing the blame saying saying he didn't do it, he's throwing the league under the bus so he can get off easier, he has nothing to lose by doing this.
 
I myself don't think there was official underground dealing. But there was some obvious outright bullshit going on by the refs in that game, particularly in the final minutes of the 4th quarter.

I think Donaghy just picked the most high-profile, poorly called game this past decade and claimed that the refs were edged on to continue the series at any costs. He's itching for a sentence reducal. Until we get real, clean facts, may that game just be remembered as a farce, and not one that will permanently damage the league for years.
 
Jordan was untouchable after Detroit won their two titles. The Jordan Rules didn't matter and he got 100% of calls. Its pretty easy to score at will when you know you are getting And1's everytime you go to the rack and you don't get any tickytack fouls. Did Jordan even foul out of a game after 88-89?

I vividly remember that shit. That was an epic fuckin series and the game 5 loss shattered the Kings. =/

So mad right now. A lot of the local fans had to suck up their pride admit to themselves that it wasn't rigged, in the face of the ridiculousness of that game, and accept that their team just didn't have what it took and lost.

There are way too many parties involved for a rig job in Game 6 to not come to light before this if it actually occurred.

I try not to make a habit of it myself, but the NBA officiating is either incompetent or there's something up. And I choose not to believe that a business with as much to risk as the NBA has would keep on so many incompetent employees. Maybe it's an odd thing to just assume they're evil as opposed to stupid, but I'm inclined toward that conclusion I guess.

People are quick to believe him because everyone watched the fucking game. It's not he said/she said when you have video of it :lol . You can make the argument that the game wasn't rigged, and we may never know for 100% sure, but if you can't somehow see that something was majorly up with that game, there's nothing to be done for you. I don't even watch that much basketball, but I specifically remember watching that game with my dad and a bunch of friends (I used to live in so cal), and all of us were just stupified by the calls happening.

If I get no reply from you, I'll assume you agree and that you admit you were wrong.
