Hey, everyone makes mistakes! People can change as well, but okay a post history from a week ago has a very good chance of being up to date beliefs.
Trumps post history on GAF would be something else. Bet he would be a fan of FF13 as well.
PoliGAF was exceedingly pro-Hillary and many of its posters constantly clashed with Bernie supporters in OT. But that doesn't mean NeoGAF is a far left site.
We have a number of socialists, communists, and anarchists, but they're drowned out by the amount of liberals (which is not far left) here.
Just look at that thread where people freaked out when they realized they'd have to pay higher taxes if Bernie's Healthcare plan went through.

Bernie was great, then you know he lost the primary and Hilary was great too. Maybe not exactly what I was looking for but solid none-the-less.

Maybe if there were any conservatives left who knew how to have rational discussions, it wouldn't be this way. Trump supporters are by and large incapable of truthfully and rationally discussing anything without disinformation, lies, and diversion tactics.
I expect conservatives and alt-right/Trump supporters are in a deep minority everywhere they go online that isn't explicitly dedicated to encouraging safe space, sycophantic discussion for conservative, alt-right/Trump supporters. To that end it makes sense to me that every internet domain that permits a free and open exchange of ideas looks like a liberal echo chamber.

As a marginalized minority, the notion that gaf is far left is sadly hilarious to me. Gaf ain't far left. As a whole, gaf is far more moderate than it likes to think at times.

The CNN/Trump spat is about Trump calling out CNN as fake news when he himself is lying events CNN reported on.
He is trying to use his lie to discredit media as a whole and trying to use it as an example to revoke news companies from his press conferences.
Problem is, the IC, President, and Vice President are calling him out on it- CNN didn't lie nor did they report fake news.
This is not what could take Trump down, but is important to highlight his character to the public.
I think the main "problem", if you will, is that the majority of GAF is varying degrees of left - I'm European centrist myself, so I have more in common with socialists than with American republicans, which makes finding common ground much more difficult, especially on the internet.
I'm quite sure there's at least a few American conservatives on here that despise Trump as much as you and I do. We can all unite behind how terrible of a human being he is (and the public agrees - he already has bottom of the barrel approval ratings)

There are lots of rational conservatives across the internet.
They just aren't Trump supporters.
If I'm being truthful, I have never/very rarely met a rational conservative in my life. When it comes to ethical matters on human rights they're consistently off the mark. And when it comes to economics they screw over millions for the "job creators".

GAF is so far and away from far left, have any of ya'll actually stepped outside of off-topic threads and ventured into the more prolific Gaming Discussion threads about female and POC representation in the gaming industry? That alone just shows that GAF is solidly a moderate forum, the only left-leaning posters on GAF are typically the moderators, but the userbase alone does not qualify it as left-leaning at all.

People hated on Hillary all the time in both the 2008 and 2016 primaries. Valid criticisms were fine. I think it's just that Trump was so uniquely terrible and dangerous for the country, as he has already proven before even being inaugurated, that it was simply ridiculous to suggest that people should vote for him.
There were plenty of McCain and Romney fans around in their respective elections. It's just that to support Donald Trump is to support the kind of behavior that is bannable around here.

There was a closed Senate session today regarding Russian hacking and apparently including this information.
There will be a full House briefing tomorrow including FBI, IC, and some select others.
