He still twists to something else. Yes, the hacking happened, fake news etc. but that's not what people are solely focusing on now.

Why would his tax returns prove dodgy deals, surely that stuff is hiding in some black book, his tax returns might show he is a liar, not a billionaire, paid hardly any tax but is it really going to show he made deals with Russia or whoever?

The more he talks about it, the more guilty he sounds. His point of defense continues to be that Russia is correct in denying the allegations, and the intelligence community is making shit up.

I like how he ended the middle tweet on "Probably...", context matters. :p

LOL

Do we have a running tally of all the press conferences he has never delivered?

Lock him up.

In reading this guy's Twitter I found this retweet that seems...outrageous.

https://mobile.twitter.com/danmericaCNN/status/819581642004172801

Inhofe, second to John McCain on the Arms Committee, told NPR that he thinks the dossier and all of it is entirely false and suggested that McCain took it seriously and gave it to Comey because "well, it was known that McCain wasn't really for Trump sooo..."

And then he suggested the FBI shouldn't even investigate it at all.

So fuck that guy.

(It was on NPR One and I don't have the link anymore :/)

I hope the government people have made some nice back ups of Trump and friends information just in case they decide to do some cleaning up if they manage to make it into office.

John Schindler going off on Twitter. I still trust the guy and he seems like he knows stuff but yea, I think till he cools down, he sounds too crazy right now.

He definitely knows his stuff but his emotions are running really high right now and he should stop to collect himself, and come back at this from a more leveled angle.

Even the best case scenario for us anti-Trumpites leaves us with a GOP House and Senate. Ugh.

God I hope Ruth Bader-Ginsburg can hold on for 4 more years.

His going crazy actually lends legitimacy to the affair though, IMO. It reminds me of that guy on that business channel in (early?) 2008 who predicted the financial crisis and went on a crazy tirade on air.

I'm always super hesitant to put stock in a single person on Twitter. Maybe he's onto something huge, but way more times than not, putting your faith into somebody like this leads to nothing.

If he is into something big, hopefully the right people are involved and doing work behind the scenes to take appropriate action.

As an Australian, I can't apologise enough for us inflicting Rupert Murdoch on the world.

It will be a glorious day when that vile old propagandist takes his dying breath.

WSJ has just called for comey to resign

So, how does it work then if Comey resigns? Does Trump install a new head of FBI or what?

Because it seems the FBI is one of the agencies leading the charge on investigating this, under Comey. Installing someone who is Trump-friendly, like explicitly so, could bury anything that's here.

I'm not surprised he went after the guy being "afraid of being sued"

He isn't suing BuzzFeed, he isn't suing anybody. His leverage with litigation was always the fact that he went after people with financial backing then him, then made them suffer with the cost of litigation. If he sues anybody over politics, they are going to get bankrolled just to drag everything out in court.

I would like to go on the record again and say Obama fucked up by picking Comey. It is turning out to be the biggest mistake of his presidency.

Maybe the next Democratic President won't be foolish and won't pick Republicans to run his agencies.

Obama is just too damn honourable for his own good. His presidency is a lesson in how trying to be bipartisan never guarantees reciprocation from the other side and will more likely be used to undermine you so always have that in mind

I don't think ANYONE would have predicted how messed up Comey would be though. Like fuck if this hasn't been the perfect storm of bullshit

Have I missed something his tweet said "turns out they are phoney" but have them been or is it just trumps head telling him that they are fake?

Trump cites his source. He said that Russia said that it's fake. You believe Russia would tell the truth about this like Trump, don't you? Airtight source.

Oh yeah, he's guilty for sure. Just a matter of time.

The mentality Trump supporters are displaying is frightening. It is no longer "party above country" like so many Republicans have adopted since the Reagan days, It's moved way beyond that to now be "Trump abover everyone" and it may have been from the start. It's a cult.

Well, you don't need foresight to predict it, you simply just don't put yourself in the situation to begin with. Why he thought he could trust Republicans is beyond me.

It's abundantly clear to me that Obama is a man who believes in the basic goodness of people, and tried to see the best in his political opponents.

Which streets? New Yorkers were in the streets for a while after the election, unfortunately we're also the ones subsidizing the goddamn rustbelt so we have to work.

New York, Boston, LA, SF, Seattle, Miami, Chicago. And weekend exists. I just feel like everyone is waiting for something instead of doing something.
