i posted the gif because that's where most people remember her. but again, the point is that trump is point towards an article painting the claims as fake news from a site whose editor in chief is laura ingraham who is that person in the gif and extremely close to the trump campaign

"Notice how Cohen's passport cover is black?
That's a diplomatic passport, not a normal one

So even if he did show the inside (and assuming he didn't travel inter-EU as mentioned previously), it wouldn't mean anything, because the stamps could still be in his regular (blue) passport"

That passport is dark blue. It looks darker because he's casting a shadow as he takes a photo. This isn't the dress!

Also, the Czech Republic does not require a visa for U.S. passport holders staying less than 90 days, at least at present. Even then, the source documents' author concedes the "where" is not the high-confidence part of the allegation. It might have been somewhere else.

This thread moves so fast and OP isn't updated with many of the details. Can someone please recap?
What's all this about hooker piss and Prague etc?

Why are people going on about that super old nazi salute picture? Yes, it made for a very interesting visual, and yes, they're bad people, but let's remain a little bit sane and realize that the chances of this being a coincidence are high enough to not use it as a base for arguments against these people? That moment has been discussed to death already and as much as I dislike them it's not proof of anything.

Most of all, are you people forgetting there is something much more interesting and relevant going on today?

I'm afraid to stop refreshing because I don't want to miss anything. I am afraid to go to sleep because I know, when I wake up, this thread will be twice as long and it will be impossible to catch up. I'll just have to start fresh tomorrow, endlessly refreshing, hoping something, anything, good comes from this.

Apologies if this has been discussed before (the thread is real large) but what evidence do we have about the veracity of this report? It's all very damning, but very easily dismissed as "fake news" - even if parts of the report are not true it can poison the well for the rest. I don't doubt that buzzfeed have the report for real, I'm wondering as to how much of the report is true or at least reliable. Obviously we can't prove that the FSB has evidence on Trump, but what do we know about the nature of this information to use as a source of veracity?

And for the record, I'm not doing "just asking questions" bullshit to steer the conversation off. I really do want to know more.

Be interesting to know if this is a Pence move, and Trump is fighting a battle on two fronts. :p

I'm a vehement Trump opponent, who proudly voted for Clinton (and encouraged others to do so), but I also think that photo is so overused and misused. I also hate it because every thread it's posted in, it's irrelevant, and derails the conversation and focuses on Laura Ingraham. Plus the "Look at the whole photo it's even worse!" If you *actually* look at the whole photo, you realize the banner of Trump is about 50 feet behind the podium and completely out of view to whoever is speaking, and that the Getty images photo is making it look like she's Nazi saluting right to an adjacent photo of Trump.

Don't have to be a Trump supporter to think that photo being posted, alleging that LAura Igram is giving a NAzi salute, is ridiculous crap

I also hate it because it's so fucking irrelevant to this thread, and yet, here we are talking about an inconsequential photo of an inconsequential person doing something inconsequential.

Inconsequential person?

That is the direct source Trump is using to try to discredit this.

Btw you forgot to put the words "challenge" and "engage" in your post.

For people to argue over it like you're doing now.

It's the same dog whistle bullshit that the alt right and some of Trump's people love to do.

"I wasn't doing a nazi salute! You liberal sjws are always complaining about something."

Then it gets retweeted or liked by accounts talking about "white genocide" and "the jews."

But yeah the thread is moving fast so I'll drop it.

Second. I'm having trouble following.

From Reddit
Summary I came up with:

>8+ years of communication between him and Kremlin, and 5+ year relationship of cultivating/supporting/assisting Trump by Russia.

>They offered him real estate deals IN RUSSIA to further ensnare him, but he declined.

>Russia has dirt on Trump watching Russian prostitutes give golden showers.

>Detailed claims of bilateral intelligence sharing back and forth between Trump and Putin. Trump had DNC moles and used US as well as foreign hackers. Trump got info on his opponents, Putin got info on Russian oligarchs + families living in US.

>They used the pension system that Russian diplomats used to transfer information back and forth to/from each other as well. It mentions tens of thousands of dollars were sent in addition to the money.

>Russia's main goal appears to be driving wedges to cause divisions in the West. They aided Jill Stein, Carter Page and Michael Flynn (the latter two being members of Trump's team) in doing so.

>Main goal of DNC emails appeared to be swinging Sanders voters to Trump.

>Russia and Trump had a mutual agreement on the DNC hack. Russia released the emails to Wikileaks in return for Trump removing mention of Russian invasion of Crimea in favor of talking about NATO financial commitments in Eastern Europe and the Baltics. Putin wanted people to stop talking Ukraine while also undermining NATO.

>Trump's most damning financial commitments are actually in China and other emerging markets. He's paid large bribes and kickbacks there that would've destroyed his campaign if made public.

>Hilariously, when Trump said he had few Russian financial investments, that was true, but he has actively sought them out only to be denied. He apparently settled for extensive sexual favors there instead

>Trump lawyer Cohen had clandestine meeting with Kremlin operatives in August, held in Prague to try to make it seem less suspicious.

>Ukrainian President that Putin installed confided to Putin he DID provide ex-campaign manager Manafort w/ kickbacks that were previously reported. Left no paper trail.

>Russia pissed this has gotten so much media coverage. They hoped to push for improved Russian-US relationships regardless of who was elected. Ancillary goal with Clinton was to drive her positions further from Obama's in event she won - they're happy both candidates were anti-TPP because they viewed that as bad for them.

>Trump has bribed Russian business interests but worked diligently to obfuscate and eliminate paper trail. Also engaged in Russian sex parties but has likewise bribed or coerced witnesses to be silent. They do believe a particular Russian businessman was intricately linked to Trump would know details.

>Manafort/Page/Cohen all highly compromised. They/Trump were apparently offered up to 19% stake in a Russian oil company Rosneft by its president if they could successfully get Western Russian sanctions lifted. Page expressed interest in this deal, saying sanctions would be lifted.

>Once the sh*t started to hit the fan, Cohen was heavily involved in trying to cover up the relationship between Carter/Manafort/himself and Russia.

>Mentions that the Trump team AND Russia both paid Romanian hackers to help sabotage Democrats.

>Overall goal of electing Trump was to destabilize Western and world order in Russia's favor since he was anti-establishment and so divisive.

Let me know if something needs added or if I screwed something up.

u/JustDandy07 is the man. Added a bunch of stuff.

u/whiskystoned and u/sylviecerise made sure I had my TPP bit correct - Russia was AGAINST TPP.

u/Adrian_Bock raised a great point. Trump specifically used Presidential Suite in Russian Ritz-Carlton where Obama/Michelle stayed for his golden shower episode(s) to defile the bed. That's some depraved shit.

u/niknight_ml mentioned that Trump may have helped actually fund the DNC hack itself.

I wish the piss stuff would get ignored and focus on the other things.

Agreed. The other information is way more damning and believable, to me. If there is teeth to the report and the story, and the piss stuff ultimately proves to be made up by 4chan/etc, then it will undermine the entire story.

But people are so busy patting themselves on the back with piss jokes that they're not able to see that.

Oh, yeah. This kind of bad reputation will make both the Republicans & Trump go down in flames & will give Democrats the chance to recover.

There needs be a singular Democratic party for that to actually happen though. The GOP may be fucked, but that's been a constant. Them losing out however, somehow isn't. Which is insane.

I've read through the whole document, and just did a random fact check on one of the claims made in it. In the document it's claimed that Putin and Yanukovych met in secret on August 15 to discuss Yanukovych's kickback payments to Manafort.

After a cursory search online I came across these two articles:

http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/52714
https://meduza.io/en/news/2016/08/19/viktor-yanukovych-ukraine-s-fugitive-ex-president-just-sailed-into-volgograd-on-a-triple-decker-yacht

The first is an article on the Kremlin website outlining how Putin was present in Volgograd on August 15 for a tour of a new airport terminal.

The second article claims there was a sighting of Yanukovych onboard a private yacht sailing into Volgograd on August 19. So not on August 15 but I suppose it's plausible he was in the area on the 15th.

However, all of this could have been easily fabricated by someone who did a little bit of searching to find where these two were around each date, and maybe read this article:
http://www.unian.info/politics/1609077-putin-secretly-meets-with-yanukovych-over-ledgers-mentioning-manafort-media.html

Those who choose to ignore this will and they'll call it fake news. They always have. They just used to call it "main-stream media."

Interesting stuff here in the last hour. She seems to know who wrote the thing (a Republican), and she thinks it's legit.

https://twitter.com/LizMair

Liz Mair isn't the most responsible person in the world.

She was responsible for that ad attacking Trump's wife that Ted Cruz got blamed for.

She also claimed there would be a couple of big anti-Trump stories in the last week of the election that were as bad as "Grab the Pussy" but never materialized.

honestly, the best thing to do would be to walk away for a few days, if not a week, and then return after the dust has settled. people will come up with bullshit and speculation to keep the story interesting when there aren't additional details. you'll save yourself a lot of time and frustration if you let it play itself out and follow the major points as the unfold, if they unfold.

Please stop the Laura Ingraham derail.
It's amazing how gaf can manage to derail a thread about a Russian piss orgy the president elect had while colluding with them to help him win the election by hacking the government over some dumb debate over some stupid person did or did not do a hand gesture

So it looks like this has all died down, huh?

Died down?, it's hit the BBC, The Financial Times and just about every worldwide serious newspaper, this isn't dying down, it's just getting started! :p

well, she probably meant stuff like this. Comey's bias was probably not accounted for.

The piss thing is part of the same report. It's not a separate thing like the hentai fake. 4chan couldn't have made it unless they made the whole report.

Looks like the press hasn't been able to independently verify anything substantial. It's only a thing because the intelligence agencies recently decided that parts of it are worth investigating.

It feels truthy enough but I'm waiting for some real confirmation.
