Those people in that thread are never going to be happy. They think the most minority friendly place on the internet hates minorities. If the staff were smart they’d just let the angry posters walk and move on with life. Loving reading the fallout of Ket’s ban and the community turning and tearing the admin and mods new assholes. Even better, they can’t ban people going after them as it’d only pour more fuel onto the fire. They must sit there and take it. Must be a real pisser to the mods that they finally have to face some actual consequences for their rampant, unhinged authoritarianism. The underlying tone of frustration and resentment in their continued failed placations is glorious to see.

Using their preferred parlance, comparing that forum’s moderation to evilore is such an egregious false equivalence when you consider how invisible moderation has been on here over the past year. Plus, we actually have a publicly-accessible ban history database, which is a level of transparency that resetera processes to enjoy, but doesn’t execute on any level.

Makes you think , though. Can this "wokeness-movement" only exist within a perpetual conflict? Does it need a constant threat to be able to flourish? It only seems stable if you can escalate conflict even further (resulting in shit like trying to cancel and dox people, etc.). So, when there's no "active enemy", are they doomed to turn against each other? Is a split of ERA inevitable? It's an interesting thing to observe.
