I would postpone it to next gen
The classic trilogy would still be missing. That's a pretty big omission. I still don't understand why PS1 titles aren't available to download on PS4.But if they do launch it this gen, that would mean pretty much all of the major RE titles would be available on current console, from 0 to 7 including RER1&2 + Code Veronica
C'mon Capcom, it's time to finally bring RE3 home with the rest of the family
It was either right before or right after the game was shown at E3. I'll see if I can find the posts on Era.I was lurking era like a madman back then for any re2 news, and I never saw dusk swearing about anything. He said it was considered and worked on, which capcom verified on some interviews later on. He also knew about Sekiro.
Whether he is narcisistic or not is irrelevant. The man is legit.
I would stick with what DuskGolem claimed (a.k.a. AestheticGamer).
Back in Dec 2018 he claimed that RE3 was already in development.
To add onto what you posted, he just posted this today:

Why skip the one that apparently has more dev time though? lmao. If Dusk Golem IS to be trusted.Capcom rushed out the RE2 remake so it would make sense. I'll be skipping this one.
Well if PS5 is fully BC, that would still be the case. But if they do launch it this gen, that would mean pretty much all of the major RE titles would be available on current console, from 0 to 7 including RER1&2 + Code Veronica

Whats this nonsense?Capcom rushed out the RE2 remake so it would make sense. I'll be skipping this one.
I think that rumor was partially wrong because it was unknowingly referring to Project Resistance, but it is developed by another studio.RE3 > RE2.
Hopefully it's not outsourced as rumored before.
can't wait to see Jill's tube top and mini skirt in the new engine
How about September 28th, daylight? The monsters will overtake the city. And somehow we'll be still alive.Assuming it took RE2 6 months from reveal to release, we can expect this one in summer? I'll gladly take it before!

Speaking to GameWatch, Capcom producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi (who worked on 2019's RE2) stated that as long as fans "voiced their enthusiasm," the company would look at updating the third game in the series .
