Not really. The little teaser videos are honestly the best thing at this point. The current PSN and Lantern demos still don't show all of the gameplay mechanics.
I'm glad I won't miss out on much. It's a new engine on PC. Unless some trusted GAFers with early codes report good performance, I may eschew the usual GMG discount & buy straight fr Steam for the refund insurance.

If they've added Umbrella Chronicles as pre-order bonus I could get it (not because I'm really interested in the game, just because it's the only RE I'm missing), but I'll wait for a good discount at this point, since pre-ordering is not really worth (and I'm not even sure about the quality of RE7, since we barely saw something. I mean, it could be a 4 hours game with some branches in and there from what I know).

I actually give it a chance. I liked the demo. But the thing that scares me is this won't have any named characters from the series. Just some unnamed guy? No wesker? Ada? Its not Resident Evil if not.

Most of their recent stuff has been on MT Framework, which is a champ, but some outliers like DR3 & Revelations 2 (MTF, but oddly very taxing on the CPU) leave me room for concern.
That's good to know. Might not be indicative of the final game, but I'll at least see how the RE engine runs.
DR3 is Capcom Vancouver and they haven't used MT Framework since DR1 (I might have misread, I'm guessing you aren't saying DR3 is MTF).

Famitsu confirmed there will be a few returning RE characters that cameo in RE7 (they also say plural). Also the confirmed legitimate leaker spilled one of them is *leak spoilers*

Hate to Double Post, but the Digital Deluxe Edition is now pre-orderable off Steam.
It'll be super interesting to analyze RE7 when it comes out.

The PC version will have a lot of graphic settings to play with, I'm sure it will run smoothly on a big range of hardware.
Also, the Steam demo will be available very soon, so you'll be able to try it yourself.
I'm sure they'll maintain a revolaitons or side series to keep as co-op.
