It will be called Biohazard 7 Resident Evil / Resident Evil 7 Biohazard instead of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard / Biohazard 7 Resident Evil.

Thankfully I don't think it's happening. Just a complete focus on sp.I haven't followed this at all. I see no coop badge on the Steam page.
Too early or not happening?
So a year later? Because the VR stuff is exclusive to PS4 for a whole year :/

Is there any extended gameplay videos of this game on youtube that anyone would recommend?
I'm glad I won't miss out on much. It's a new engine on PC. Unless some trusted GAFers with early codes report good performance, I may eschew the usual GMG discount & buy straight fr Steam for the refund insurance. Those are some ResidentSleeper bonuses
Oh well, the pricing in my currency is super cheap, getting it day one either way.
Has Capcom ever released a shoddy port?I'm glad I won't miss out on much. It's a new engine on PC. Unless some trusted GAFers with early codes report good performance, I may eschew the usual GMG discount & buy straight fr Steam for the refund insurance.

Most of their recent stuff has been on MT Framework, which is a champ, but some outliers like DR3 & Revelations 2 (MTF, but oddly very taxing on the CPU) leave me room for concern.Has Capcom ever released a shoddy port?
That's good to know. Might not be indicative of the final game, but I'll at least see how the RE engine runs. The demo should hit PC at some point

I actually give it a chance. I liked the demo. But the thing that scares me is this won't have any named characters from the series. Just some unnamed guy? No wesker? Ada? Its not Resident Evil if not.
Probably won't buy it at $60 either.
DR3 is Capcom Vancouver and they haven't used MT Framework since DR1 (I might have misread, I'm guessing you aren't saying DR3 is MTF).
Is Panta Rei dead?
I've got my sneaking suspicions the Panta Rei engine turned into the RE Engine.
The PC version will have a lot of graphic settings to play with, I'm sure it will run smoothly on a big range of hardware.I'm glad I won't miss out on much. It's a new engine on PC. Still between ORC, RE5, and RE6 That's like 15 million copies of coop games.
I don't think you can entirely ignore that as a company, even if your newest mainline game forgoes it.
