Revelations are super meh.

While it does continue the Revelations storyline, the 'leakers' hint this one is not gonna be named Resident Evil Revelations, to stand on its own as it should be a noticeable step in quality more compared to a main title.apparently its been in development since RE7 released

Hopefully it stays in the 3rd person perspective. Revelations was okay as a 3DS game, even impressive given the hardware. Revelations 2 just felt cheap.

Would love for them to just make another "normal" (sure RE is pretty bizarre so definitions are loose) Resident Evil game set in a large city. Basically a Resident Evil 4 that isn't Leon going into a village with a bunch of conveniently slow-approaching enemies.

Given what they manage to get running on PS4, just imagine what a true next-gen game could look like, and what features it could have. Also please no more first person.

That happened to me when playing the first Silent Hill, a female counsing of mine was there just to watch me play and jump scared of whatever showed in the game... Thing is, I already got used to game flow and was just tension but not fear and she randomly wispering and being scared and jumping made the game a hell of a scare fest for me lol didn't know if that was better than just playing alone haha

Oh yeah that would be cool too. I thought the first RE remake (on Gamecube) was the best. The visuals were so good (at the time). Obviously prerendered sort of "doesn't count" but it still looked amazing.

Well I'm pumped for what it could be. I like the look of the main lady, assuming both her role and gender(lul). Love the glasses, I often put 'em on my custom characters lol. I do really hope for a 3rd person return to form, along with Raid Mode. Really anticipating the Direct, assuming it'll be shown there. MS and Ninty have been carrying the year for me.
