Title is misleading. They aren't saying Leon isn't in the game. Just that you can't believe anything not announced by Capcom and if they're saving Leon for a big marketing reveal of course they would say exactly this in an interview.

As much as I hate crapcom, they didn't lie in this case, they just didn't comment on leon much, which already gave it away, since they said no when chris was mentioned.
