It looks OK but sounds like they're trying too hard (or lying).

Could be entertainingly bad! Gotta be better than the made for China ones right?

Edit: I see that juicy bicep on Chris...

The Strangers: Prey at Night and 47 Meters Down: Uncaged got mixed reviews but I thought they were fun sequels, and the former even had gorgeous cinematography at times. I’ll only watch this because it has the same director, but those photos of the cast look rough.

Lighting and sets look good. Chris and Lisa Trevor look amazing.

The others look so bad. Why couldn’t they throw some dark sunglasses on Wesker?

Still I’ll reserve judgment till the trailer. Can’t be too far off for that.

The only one I know is Kaya Scodelerio or however you spell her last name. Effy was prime on Skins S3/4 back in the day.
There's also that guy from the Umbrella Academy... I think.

But damn... None of the actors even resemble the characters.

Hell, there are like 9 different "versions" of Claire and they weren't able to cast someone remotely similar to any of those.

Honestly? I love it

I know that its not a high bar, but looks tons better than any RE movie of the past.

I'm glad that they are finally making a RE movie with a RE game story and no Alice bullshit.

Lisa Trevor looks creepy af. Leon and Jill look different but I dont give a damn. If they nail their personalities, thats all that I care about.

lol at people saying that it looks like a B movie

What were you guys expecting from a RE adaptation? Expect cheese

The actual words the director is saying here sounds pretty awesome, he's going for "Old-school film making".

“The difference with this film as opposed to the previous movies is that it is an ensemble where each of the main characters carries huge importance to the narrative. They are not just cosplay characters who have the exact hair and costume of the characters,” Roberts said. “It was hugely important with the whole casting process to find people who embodied the spirit and energy of the characters I wanted to portray. I think often in game adaptations one of the big flaws can be just casting someone to look visually like the characters - giving them the identical haircut and clothes but not really trying to give the audience the thing that a movie does better than a game - which is to create a three dimensional character that you can really connect with and believe in.”

Maybe the director didn't see the picture as he was directing it?

Although if you listen to the guy that made Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the movie he thinks he made and the movie he actually made are 2 completely different things.

Mouse Ball Fetishist
Latino S Kennedy, at least cast someone that look a like to the character
The dude is Indian. (according to Wikipedia)

it looks like an hallowen rubber mask from that low quality screen...and too normal?!
That's precisely why I think she looks creepier.
The cleaner look makes this already-disturbing character even more unsettling imo. Especially since we know in the game her behavior is somewhat organized compared to the other monsters.

But the not-clear look was his best horror feature (other than the sound design) she was so fucked up that you don't really know where the head begins\end...

The mask in the pic looks overly rubbery...

I guess agree to disagree.
