Returnal may be headed to Steam!

Any graphics card below next gen (RTX 3xxxx and RDNA 3) got discontinued and out of production in 2020. Do I have to inform you about everything? It's like me not knowing when PS5 came out or how much it has sold and then trying to argue with you.

Educate yourself or don't get into arguments you got no clue about.
You keep saying RDNA 3. We don't have RDNA 3 GPUs yet. It's RDNA 2.

That's because they want to be able to downplay the game releasing to PC -meaning it would have been forgotten and no longer needed as a game to dick swing about when these console wars come up here.
Get over it.

Always they they they, me me me, us us us. You are just as pathetic in this nerd soup we are all in.

Finally a PS game i have some interested in.
However if the pricetag remains $70 and it doesn't have any sort of regional pricing, it'll be a major turn off.

It will be much closer than that. Keep watching...
You make this comment in some fashion pretty often, are you an insider or do you have some reputable source(s) whom you are getting this info from? Or is it just because games are trickling to pc that eventually means day 1?

P.S. this is NOT an attack on you, i know how sensitive you can be, i just want to understand what you are basing these type of comments on

Is there a release date? I got the game after they ironed out most of the critical bugs and enjoyed it immensely.

I can easily get over it if I'm not trolled every damn time I say something that's not in the favor of the Sony gods. Just take me seriously (especially when telling you what my sources are telling me) instead of thinking I'm trying to downplay the plastic box and we can all get along fine.

How about accepting that people want to play the game day one and don't want to wait? Not everything is platform wars.

If you have to ask someone to take you seriously you are probably doing something very wrong.

the Microsoft show will be interesting for sure now

lol is nobody checking the nvidia leak? I have the gif there because I don't think a Fallout New Vegas 2 was actually on the list. It was meant as a joke. But with the response I've gotten I'm not starting to wonder if it really was there or not now.

Alright, at this point I'm certain the only reason Demon's Souls hasn't yet being released on PC is because of Elden Ring. Sony people probably think that people won't want to buy two Souls games within such a short frame, so they wait for the Elden Ring hype to die out a bit, have the players recover from Souls fatique and then release Demon's Souls on Steam.

I estimate a Christmas 2022 release on PC.

People need to accept that all Sony games will eventually appear on PC. I have as a PlayStation fan.

Who cares whether it's Day 1 or 2 years. Won't change my experience.

Day 1 might not happen yet but it will happen eventually. The 12 live service games will probably be the first Sony games to be Day 1. Simply can't be on one platform to be a success.

Oh. but you're not.

I wasn't sure about that either, but decided to include it anyway. But take it away and it doesn't make much different in the results. What would you say is the equivalent of PS5 on the Nvidia side?
Okay. Sorry by the way Topher, i didn't see that the poster was you, my comment was a bit harsh, forget about the Steve remark. ;) As to comparison, around RTX 2080/S seems fair to me.

Nope. Just echoing my source is all (which has been 100% accurate since stating the power levels of the PS5 a year before it even came out).
so exactly how long of a wait is it going to be before these "day 1" releases start to happen? is it this gen? next gen? the gen after that? is it live service games? or single player blockbuster games too? this is very vague, so excuse me for being cautious. There are just way to many "dude trust me" insiders these days.

if you have real knowledge give us a time frame, and more details.

Maybe Sony doesn't want to piss on From Softwares bonfire by releasing it so close to Elden Ring.

Demons Souls will be coming since it is so similar to Returnal. Not a System seller and did OK in sales. Also releasing on PS Plus.

Sony know nobody will buy Returnal and Demons Souls on PS5 now since they can get it on PS Plus. So releasing on PC gives another avenue of income.

Very good points.

Yeah this is pretty cool. Will wait for it to hit discount on steam before picking it up but I was always interested in this title from the get go.

Which means Fallout New Vegas 2 is also real and probably getting announced next month.

Covid related delays have probably shifted the timeline, but I think it's a safer bet it will be announced sooner rather than later.

Kingdom Hearts 4 got announced, actually that game got announced sooner than anyone realistically expected.

Now, is that game coming out soon ? Hell no, I don't think it'll be out for a good few years. But it got announced, as per the leak.

My source would never give me a timeframe. That's way too risky. I've never asked for one because he wouldn't tell me anyway. I think it doesn't matter though. When I asked about what specific games were coming to PC, his reply was "man, PC is getting all the Sony exclusives". Obviously that isn't meant to be taken 100% accurately, but it denotes that all the heavy-hitter exclusives were coming to PC. I just knew it wasn't going to be YEARS for them to come out because that decision to port to PC was clearly recent and not something they even knew themselves a couple years ago.

All I know is that the game pipelines for these companies have to be rewritten (based on that decision) to support the PC so that the future games would be released rather quickly. To me that points to a day and date at some point in the future. You can use deductive reasoning quite easily on what's coming to PC that's a PS5 game by what you see on PC now (and coming in the next year). GoW:R and H:FW are 100% guarantees of PC ports since their previous games are finished with the PC/PS game pipeline. All the ND games are coming (I don't know how far back they are going to go).

Okay, so I heard that as Gran Turismo, Insomniac games, Horizon/GoW sequel, Demon's Souls confirmations.

And you can't take that away from me.
