It's not like they where busy making a new game or anything.Wow! Only took them half a year to up the resolution!
It's not like you need 50 developers to change a couple of fields in the configIt's not like they where busy making a new game or anything.
Half a year is nothing compared to devs like fromsoftware.Wow! Only took them half a year to up the resolution!
This was their 1st full size game & now they're working on another full size game so maybe they didn't want to just send anyone in to change stuff around in their code or maybe they didn't like the results & wanted things to be better before sending out a patch. It's not like you need 50 developers to change a couple of fields in the config
Yeah changing that .In file requires tons of time and resources. Ooooof have you ever opened one? There are at least 7 lines of text with parameters in there !It's not like they where busy making a new game or anything.
If that were the case, a Pro patch for every game (first- and third-party) would be out the very next day. It's not like you need 50 developers to change a couple of fields in the config
Yeah because changing code on your computer for yourself is exactly the same as changing code on a retail console game . Just change a few lines of text & send it out as a patch no need to test it or anything because it worked perfectly on my PCYeah changing that .In file requires tons of time and resources. Great but you will not get 100% of the performance improvements if you stay in essentially native mode but the mode designed to be BC with PS5. They tried to reduce it, but there are things that do require developers to change their shaders (one of them was to take advantage of the new HW based BVH stack management).Yeah changing that .In file requires tons of time and resources. I'm close man those damned Ciphers, but the game is super addicting.Aw man, I just 100 % this a few weeks ago![]()
200% it.Aw man, I just 100 % this a few weeks ago![]()
But it is more or less exactly that.Yeah because changing code on your computer for yourself is exactly the same as changing code on a retail console game . Just change a few lines of text & send it out as a patch no need to test it or anything because it worked perfectly on my PC
You're trivializing a huge amount of work. But it is more or less exactly that.
You're trivializing a huge amount of work.
Here's Remedy talking about how the pro patch For AW2 took many months to create/test/release and how they're estimating more than a few weeks to make changes/improvements
Also an economic equation. I doubt Remedy and Bloober find it economically sound to spend weeks or months of dev time on troubleshooting this. Unfortunately. The patch ended up underwhelming + silent hill 2 also never got its Pro patch fixed. Go figure, guess it depends how good pssr etc works with different engines
Did you do the DLC endings?I finished this game yesterday. Probably the most satisfied I have ever been finishing a game.

I didn't get it earlier but it's downloading now.I didn't get a patch on my end yet, is it live for anyone else
I have a 4k VRR enabled 120hz tv and costco is stocking these now, so I've convinced myself I want a Pro.
My backlog for it looks pretty decent too.
Ragnarok, Wukong, TLOU2R, Days Gone Remastered…and this!
Is there anywhere on the internet that has a list of games including what the enhancements are?
They did a 1080p to 1440p temporal reconstruction, then a checkerboard pass to 2160p. It ended up looking just slightly better than a 1080p image, but far from anything resembling a 4K presentation.Just tested it, extremely crispy image. Makes sense since weren't they using some kind of CB before?
