If Ford's lawyer is incompetent as he leads on to be, this is going to be a fun year leading to the next election.
Well he doesn't exactly have much to work with.
I think they know the police won't release the video prematurely so they're pushing for it's release and going "how come they won't release it? What are they trying to hide?" angle.
He should be judged by a jury of his peers after all.

The absurd part is even that is something he probably shouldn't be doing as the sitting mayor.
The other mayoral candidates shouldn't have too tough a time rebranding him from "the guy you want to have a beer with" to "the guy you tell your kids to stay away from".
It's funny that Rob Ford's lawyers are suggesting marijuana was being smoked. While marijuana is certainly more socially acceptable than cocaine and would be a less damaging story, it seems like a poor defense to say "hey it was this illegal substance not that illegal substance".

Yea i was too.. it was nuts. I remember one lady saying that it doesnt matter what he does on his own time as long as he does his job and helps save them money. I understand that to a certain point, like if i was DRUNK the night before and went to work and did my job. But fuck, im not the Mayor of Toronto, nor an elected official. Im not doing all these shady things. Who knows why the hell hes pushing for certain things. How can you trust his judgement at all? I mean it was hard to trust his judgement before anyway, but now, i think you are just insane if you do trust him.
On top of that she was asking for proof, proof of the video, wants to see the video(Willectro mode engage). The host got fed up, hes like it doesnt matter to you what he does outside of work regardless, so what does seeing the video change things. Her answer was essentially i want to see video. UGH.
Yeah, what you do in your personal time is fine, as long as it doesn't cross over into illegal activities or affects your work performance. Associating with gang members, doing drugs, possibly driving drunk aren't exactly things you can just ignore and sweep under the rug.

He usually admits to things when he gets caught red-handed. Like that one time he got caught drunk at a Leafs game. He was all, "I was never at a Leafs game!" for a while.

Yup exactly. Ford denied even being at the game at first, then finally came out and admitted he was drunk and he was sorry.
Man, I just laughed as I re-read this. We just casually talk about our beloved mayor being drunk out in public, no big deal. Of course this particular incident was when he was only a councilor and not mayor, but still he's been drunk in public since then and we pretty much take it as normal. LOL
OJ was in the back seat with a gun and had his buddy driving, is Doug driving the Escalade?
