A love it when news articles use words like Amid to imply a correlation between events. They also threw the word Steam in just to ensure those clicks come through.
Events from Grow A Garden and whatever the fuck was happening this past weekend. It's not like people thought "we can prey on kids? Let me get in on that" and flooded the game.
No correlation between the controversy and player count -- there was a huge crossover event between two of the most popular games this weekend. My kids made me wake them up at 7:00 AM on a Saturday to be there.
