Roblox Destroys Steam Live Player Record And Achieves 47.4M Amid Child Abuse Controversy

Me looking at literally any adult playing Roblox right now:

Steamers, care to explain?
Huh? Roblox isn't on Steam, what's there to explain?
It's also worth mentioning that the article states Roblox beat its own concurrent user record thanks to two popular events they ran in the last weeks, they don't relate it to the controversy.

EDIT: I guess it's just a ragebait title and thread by OP.

I feel guilty for gifting so many roblox credit codes to the son of my best friend...

I'm gonna tell him to check his boy more carefully when he play that shit.

A love it when news articles use words like Amid to imply a correlation between events. They also threw the word Steam in just to ensure those clicks come through.

Events from Grow A Garden and whatever the fuck was happening this past weekend. It's not like people thought "we can prey on kids? Let me get in on that" and flooded the game.

No correlation between the controversy and player count -- there was a huge crossover event between two of the most popular games this weekend. My kids made me wake them up at 7:00 AM on a Saturday to be there.

Roblox is a huge deal.
