Yeah, I think Will Smith and Sam really pulled the movie through, how they go about around the desolate city, I loved that.IronicallyTwisted said:The book is such a brilliant role reversal and a great insight into good - evil relatism. Its just so odd that they thought making Will Smithwas a better alternative. The movie is well acted and well presented, it just leaves you with a bitter aftertaste.the saviour of humanity, and hence a "legend"

Even though something as silly as Shrek was in it..they really managed to make it a "do not laugh at this bit..its very serious" moment.

It really went the "Ugghhh, what, why?" direction after the burial scene. It would've been much better if they were a bit more faithful to how things went in the book![]()

Yeah, it really seemed that way, big reason why the ending was even more of a letdown.dskillzhtown said:Even friends who didn't read the book have all said the exact same thing. What makes it worse is the fact it seemed they were heading in the direction of the book, then detoured big time.

Lobster said:I thought the ending was rather good...but thats probably because I've never read the book.
G_Berry said:Secondly, the alternate ending was a MILLION, no, a GAZZILION times better.
