Bought a brand new copy of this off eBay for $8 earlier this week in preparation for the Rumble.

Came in the mail today, just in time. Gonna play the crap out of it with my buds until the Rumble starts Sunday night. And now, prediction time!

Person that lasts the longest in the match: CM Punk. Until Kane enters the Rumble in full Attitude Era ring gear and destroys Punk. Since his identity cannot be confirmed or denied with Kane wearing his original mask that covers his entire face, and a long haired wig, he will face no repercussions on Raw. Sets up a possible EC match between the two, or a Career vs Career match at Wrestlemania.

Person that eliminates the most people: Bitches get wet when it Reigns. Shield will triple powerbomb at least one person over the ropes.

Surprise Entries in this years Rumble: Daniel Bryan, Jake the Snake, DDP, Sting

Most likely winning the Rumble: Daniel Bryan. There's no way they haven't been setting up for Bryan to get his big win at WM since SS. Not a chance. They can't be that stupid. Right?

Final Four: Batista, Sting, Bryan, Reigns.

That's about as good as sports entertainment gets

Slow build = making the moment that much of a bigger deal as well. Imagine if all the Sting stuff started then 1 week later they're like NAR HE'S NOT WITH THEM LOL.

If it was done today:

Cole: OH MY! STING! He's back, last week must of just been a trick! You see Hogan thought he was with them but it turns out HE ISN'T. HE'S BACK! STING IS FINALLY BACK!

JBL: MAGGLE MAGGLE WHY DOES HE HAVE A BAT MAGGLE, ITS SIX ON ONE BUT HE'S GOT A WEAPON MAGGLE!

King: They might be black and white but it looks like they're gonna be black and BLUE soon. *snicker*

*Cena main event afterwards*

When are we gonna know which number we are for the Royal Rumble lottery?

Also, when does the Avatar rumble start tomorrow?

Avatar Rumble starts at 8pm Eastern / 5pm Pacific.
As for the Rumble lottery, I suppose we'll have our numbers sometime on Sunday.

I actually sort of don't like the current approach of just randomizing the list of names and then assigning #s 1-30 in order.
I like the idea of doing that for the first 30 names (to ensure every slot gets covered) but I think the remaining names should be effectively assigned a number at random.
That way there's a feasible possibility of only a single person getting assigned an entrant in the 20s.

Thanks for the response.

I'll be there to watch

I hoping there's
gon
na be a rumble if Brock anf Show don't destroy the ring
!!

Sunny you forget one match

DM vs RBH!!!

G, don't pull a Macho King and not come out when it's your turn

DM isn't even good enough to tie my boots.

*folds arms*

Person that lasts the longest in the match: Punk; being #1 secures that as his storyline.

Person that eliminates the most people: Roman Reigns be getting that push.

Surprise Entries in this years Rumble: Sheamus, DDP, The Godfather (who eliminates Wade Barrett), Mick Foley for a comedy spot

Most likely winning the Rumble: Batister. And controversial opinion time: his WM opponent is the new Authority special pet/champion ... Brock Lesnar.

Final Four: Bryan, Batista, Reigns, Ambrose. Reigns takes out Ambrose, Bryan gets screw-jobbed by Triple H somehow, and Batista reverses Reigns trying to cheat to win.

Person that lasts the longest in the match: CM Punk

Person that eliminates the most people: Roman Reigns

Surprise Entries in this years Rumble: Evan Bourne, Sheamus and probably a few others.

Most likely winning the Rumble: Batista

Final Four: Batista, Punk, Sheamus, and Del Rio

I am EXTREMELY confident in those picks.

super excited for the rumble this year as its the first one in my new house so im having like 10 people over to watch it should be a blast!

That's actually how im doing it!

List will be up by 1 PM PST on Sunday

I don't follow it as much as some of you guys but here are my picks.

Person that lasts the longest in the match: CM Punk

Person that eliminates the most people: Roman Reigns (including his Shield buddies)

Surprise Entries in this years Rumble: Jake Roberts, Scott Hall, and Sheamus.

Most likely winning the Rumble: Daniel Bryan

Final Four: Bryan, Reigns, Punk, Cena

Then here's how I'd book Wrestlemania

Daniel Bryan will win the Rumble and face Randy Orton at Wrestlemania. DBry will finally win the big one, cleanly.

Batista and Alberto Del Rio will fight, with the hopes to get Del Rio over. I hope after the lukewarm reaction Batista got, that he won't win the Rumble.

I can see Brock Vs. Undertaker if Sting doesn't pan out.

CM Punk Vs. Kane also.

I could see John Cena against a returning heel Sheamus.

Roman Reigns against a member of the Shield.

Big E Vs. Bray for the IC Title.

Punk/Bryan versus HHH/Kane makes to much sense to actually happen right?

Did we ever get any Kane and Bryan payoff from that tag team run? I forget how that ended

Daniel Bryan achieved Super Saiyan 2 and so Kane, knowing he was the weak link and at his power level would only be getting in the way decided to retire from competing in the world martial arts tournaments.

Guess i will throw my hat in the ring

Person that lasts the longest in the match: CM Punk

Person that eliminates the most people: Roman Reigns

Surprise Entries in this years Rumble: Jake the Snake, Chris Jericho, Roddy Piper and Sheamus

Most likely winning the Rumble
: Daniel Bryan

Final Four: Punk, Batista, Bryan and Sheamus

I really don't want anyone to break Kane's record (looking at you Reigns)

He was just so BEAST in 2001. Plus it's like the 1 record Kane has going for him, let rumble be his legacy.

I'll play it safe:

Person that lasts the longest in the match: Cena

Person that eliminates the most people: Cena (breaking Kane's record)

Surprise Entries in this years Rumble: Cena

Most likely winning the Rumble: Cena

Final Four: Cena, Cena's Dad, Odds, Cena

You know, I've been a WrestleGaffer for years and I never learned what the avatar rumble is? :lol

I can't wait for the PPV. I try not to predict the RR to try and get surprised myself.

I think there's only been one? 30 people sign up by picking a wrestler and whichever wrestler wins, all 30 of them have to change their avatar to a picture of that wrestler (until Wrestlemania, was it?). Last year it was Big Show.

Remember last year when we all had Big Show avatars? Yeah it was because of that.

Why on earth would Sting come to WWE? So Vince could bury him for no reason, slap a trademark on his name and then never be allowed to wrestle again?

Unless its a one shot to get pinned by Undertaker at Wrestlemania, I dont see any benefit for Sting.

Ah. Gotcha. I do remember the Big Show avatars.

I'll have to participate next year. Sounds like a fun time.

Everyone has a price!

When is the drawing done for the avatar rumble?

You're getting the two events mixed up - one's the Avatar Rumble which can only have 40 entrants and filled up weeks ago, FAST - the other is the Rumble Lottery which is what tm24's doing early tomorrow.

Wait, what time is the avatar rumble and whose streaming it, etc?!

7pm Central. TEN HOURS AWAY

GET YOUR SHIT EXCITED

fuck, I don't know what I was thinking lol. I assume that'll be posted in this thread, right?

If Sting does show up they better suit him up with a heavy trench coat. No one wants to see Sting wrestle in a tee shirt lol.

Like others said, he'd probably be getting a big fat payday.

For this scenario:

casual fan: Oh, look!!! It's Sting! I miss the Sting of the WCW days. Where can I watch all that stuff? Oh!!! The WWE Network!

(same scenario for when Hogan is back on WWE programming)

it'll help sell subscriptions for WWE and Sting will get a nice check

I like how that game doesn't even have 30 wrestlers in it, so some people will enter the Rumble twice.

I still think it's about 10 years too late for Sting/Undertaker and I don't want to see Sting in a WWE ring wearing a t-shirt to hide that his physique is no longer where it use to be besides that both men are pretty broken down at this point to where it'd take a miracle to pull out a good match between them and neither is capable of pulling carry duty. I've always got Sting's concern about how he'd be handled, especially back then but I seriously doubt they would have treated him as Vince did other WCW guys (except Goldberg, his bitching on how he was handled has always been ridiculous and show's how big of a mark he is for himself) because Vince had wanted Sting for years and respected his loyalty, Sting was and to an extent still is money. At worst he would have been treated on a level of Ric Flair.

But if Sting does show up for WM, I hope he gets in a great workout regimen and manages to get into better shape at the very least. Aside from Undertaker there's money in Sting vs Cena as well, could perhaps play off how back when Cena first started out he was compared to Sting. Amused me hearing some of that because that was the first thing I thought back when I first saw him in 2000.

Anyway, he works a limited schedule in a final run, gets inducted in WWE's HOF next year.

As for the Rumble and Orton/Cena #13,532 I predict the winner will be I don't give a shit.

Person that lasts the longest in the match: Punk, kind of obvious they're going to make him the "Ironman" this year. But he'll be eliminated before the final four by NAO on a Triple H distraction.

Person that eliminates the most people: Reigns so we can hear Cole's fed masturbatory lines from Vince informing the plebs that Reigns is the second coming.

Surprise Entries in this years Rumble: Sheamus, Jake, RVD, Jericho

Final Four: Batista, Bryan, Del Rio, Sheamus (number 30)

Most likely winning the Rumble: Bryan if Vince is smart but probably Batista. I could see either Del Rio getting eliminated and then distracting or pulling out Batista or Bryan eliminating Sheamus and then a pissed off Sheamus turning heel and taking Bryan out in a heelish manner. Revealing Monday that Sheamus is aligned with the Authority to ensure Bryan stays in his place and what better guy than the one who beat him at WM28 in 18 seconds. Then WMXXX being Bryan's redemption as unfortunate as that might be.

That said, I'd rather HBK come out of retirement for a match with Bryan, I think it'd be a much bigger deal at WrestleMania.

Joining the prediction league!

Person that lasts the longest in the match: Has to be Punk. He's placed #1 story-wise for a reason.

Person that eliminates the most people: I wish it was Cesaro or Big E, but Reigns has the highest chances.

Surprise Entries in this years Rumble: Bryan (story reasons), Hall, Rusev, Bo Dallas

Most likely winning the Rumble: Drax the Bateaster

Final Four: Batista, Bryan, Ambrose, Goldust
