He said DLSS4 generates 3 frames for every 1, so we can surmise the 5070 = 4090 claim is based on generating 3 fake ones. DLSS3 only generates 1, so this suggests the 5070 is actually half the power of a 4090.

AI is being used as a very effective marketing tool. It sounds revolutionary. Whether it is or not, is another thing.

If the 5090 is twice as powerful as the 4090, that doesn't suggest exponential increases due to the introduction of AI tech.
