Sure - I guess my "narrative" is so poor that even the DW has gotten into the "shields up" business protecting Germany. It's just not fair!
Germany is being criticized by Ukraine and other countries in Europe, but that is unfair says DW's Marco Müller, because Germany is doing more to help Kyiv than almost any other country.

We'll see if that "phased" approach will actually have teeth. Nice way to release pressure, but 6 months from now it'll be October, and unless you fix your terminals or replace your ancient natural gas heating infrastructure I suspect the will to enforce it will quickly diminish.
But maybe it doesn't matter about military support since apparently Germany has no more to give (because anymore and it too won't be able to defend itself from Russia... like, WHAT?)
After a video conference with his colleagues in partner states and the heads of NATO and the European Union, Chancellor Olaf Scholz commented on the question of deliveries of arms. Ukraine would receive heavy weapons, but not from the German army.
