Iran finally decided to stop lying and not only admitted to selling Russia a bunch of drones, but basically said they're in the process of selling them ballistic missiles too.

I have no idea why the U.S. isn’t immediately following suit and handing over tons of missiles to Ukraine.
Biden should have publicly made that a red line for the introduction of more advanced or more heavy weaponry. And as soon as the first missile gets fired, deliver a clutch of ATACMS. That’s how to wield power.
This pussyfooting before he loses control of Congress is quite weird.
Enough of the press statements of ‘standing by Ukraine to the end’ and do more of supplying stuff that can let Ukraine force Putin to give up.

The US and EU can't just give equipment to Ukraine.
Ukraine has spent decades training for and using soviet equipment, so moving into westerns systems is not easy.
Even if the US was to flood the Ukraine with F-16, Ukraine couldn't use them.
The Mig's given from Poland are worth a lot more, because they can be used right away.
And we can't just strap a AIM-9 or AIM-120 into a Mig and hope it works.
For modern missile systems, tanks and weapons, a similar situation occurs. Although some require less training time.
One of the things that the UE and US have been doing is buying ammo for soviet systems, from former Warsaw Pact countries, and giving it to Ukraine.

Unless Putin backs down, This war will last for at least another year. That’s the reality of things. Nobody’s expecting they’d be able to fly F-16s now, and I never said they’d be short term solutions. But there’s enough time for at least half year of intensive training.
For ATACMS, no training required as they’re already proficient with HIMARS. Bradley Fighting Vehicles? A handful of weeks at most. And the US has thousands of these mothballed and scheduled for replacement.

Things like these require huge infrastructure - spare parts, repair facilities, maintenance, training. It’s not just about giving them tech and teaching them to use it.
The F-16 is an export fighter and was/is in use in multiple NATO countries. If there's something the US isn't lacking, it's the spare parts, repair facilities etc. Neighboring Poland flies F-16s, for example.
But let's not zero on just the F-16 part of what I said. There's plenty more weapons systems available that can be given to Ukraine now that Russia's crossing all sorts of lines with Ukraine.

This is gonna be a big problem. Cheap drones causing massive damage. Almost unstoppable. Iran selling missiles and drones without comeback, giving Russia the opportunity to take out the remaining 70% of Ukraine's power stations and the expensive, western sourced military equipment.
All gloves should come off when it comes to Iran, while maybe Ukraine should be supplied with as many drones as possible to take out the Russian power network and defences (fight fire with fire).

I agree that ukraine should attack over the border, but i think because its then seen as ukraine being an aggressor vs purely defensive.
But at what point is enough enough for ukraine to just say fuck it.

Looks like they were handling some missles pretty carelessly and one blew up maybe causing others to explode to.
Woman is either in shock from seeing people get blown up or is perhaps got hit and is dying, could also not be a woman, serious screams aren't pretty.
It all sucks and I wish we could take the billions being put into death into cancer or brain disease research. I'd rather we all focus on trying to make it possible to live care free lives until we hit 300 years old than we have to brag about how much we know about death and killing.

There was a self-propelled artillery piece down there. I don't know if they were indiscriminately shelling some area or if this was a training exercise.
Before the explosion you could hear the cameraman say "Granata" which is grenade in Russian. Not sure if that was sabotage or an accident.

More HIMARS footage... It's a slow build up, but also has Russia gear cooking off.
I love that we're getting more HIMARS footage. Really looks like Ukraine is able to get close engagement now with both drones and HIMARS with little risk from Russian artillery.
If Russia wants to keep killing civilians while Ukraine kills their troops and equipment by the hundreds... It's a shitty trade off but eventually their army won't exist and the brave Ukrainians will.

There's nothing immoral about hitting your enemy's military targets in time of war, regardless of where those targets are in relation to a man-made drawn border.
Russia has taken its gloves off, so the gloves need to be off if Ukraine wants to see this through.
