I am so scared they are going to blow up that DAM. Putin not attending the G20, maybe its a big trap.
I bet their mothers would be proud since they do not give a fuck since a lot support the war.
If Russia retreats from Northern Kherson over the dnipro, it can't be underestimated just how much of a major defeat that'll be for them for several reasons. The biggest since Kyiv, and bigger than Kharkiv
1) Thats been the site of some of the most fiercest fighting since the beginning of the war, especially recently. Russia has lost thousands of soldiers in what is a relatively small part of the frontline when you look at its size. All those Russians will have basically died for nothing.
2) Kherson city was the only regional capital Russia managed to capture since Feb 24th. From a political standpoint, losing it will be devastating.
3) Russian morale will plummet even further, while Ukranian soldiers will be in even higher spirits than they already are.
4) The river will make the perfect natural defense line that Ukraine will further fortify to make any future Russian offensive in that area basically impossible. Putin's dream of taking over Mykolaiv and Odessa to eventually build a land corridor with Transnistria will never be realized.
So yeah.....interesting times ahead.

The Ukrainians are proceeding with extreme care, and wisely so. Everything in Kherson is mined, EVERYTHING. If it's completely abandoned and not an even more elaborate trap then it's still going to take a long time to undo all the ruzzian fuckery.Have they lost Kherson yet?
I'm on the edge of my seat here..

Not sure if this has been posted yet.
According to US officials, there have been an estimated 200,000 military deaths so far, with both Russia and Ukraine each losing around 100,000 each. On top of that, there are estimated to be around 40,000 civilian deaths.
Both Ukraine and Russia jealously guard their casualty numbers.
Moscow's last update in September said that just 5,937 troops had been killed since the start of the conflict, with Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu dismissing reports of a significantly higher death toll.
Ukraine has largely refrained from giving casualty figures. But in August, the armed forces' commander-in-chief, Valeriy Zaluzhniy, was quoted in Ukrainian media saying 9,000 Ukrainian soldiers had died so far.
The UN has said it does not consider figures released by those involved in the conflict to be reliable.
Fresh rounds of talks could also be on the cards for Ukraine and Russia.
signs Kyiv was willing to re-enter talks with Moscow offered "a window" for negotiations.
In recent days, Ukraine has signalled a willingness to hold some discussions with Moscow, after President Volodymyr Zelensky dropped a demand that his opposite number, Vladimir Putin, must be removed from power before negotiations could resume.
But speaking in New York, Gen Milley added that for any talks to be successful, both Russia and Ukraine would have to reach a "mutual recognition" that a wartime victory "is maybe not achievable through military means, and therefore you need to turn to other means".

Makes you wonder even harder why they would ever give it up 'freely'. The Russian way would be to keep dumping conscripts into it.Reposting this so people are aware of how big of a loss Kherson will be.
I get confused with this type of rounds. Are this guided somehow?
Talk about free speech, which you do not have POS
Enjoy the light show, Orcs.
I moved out of Kherson region on November 3rd, right now I am safe, thank you for worrying about me, sir.IWasInSeinfeld Hope all is well for you.
It's, uh... flowing south? So if you follow the river, the left bank - the bank to your left - is west?So they are moving from the right bank to the left. Going from west to east.
This does not compute. Can someone explain?

Where can I see it?The footage of those Russian soldiers crossing single file over the bridge is absolutely glorious. Not least because it means they would have to have dumped an awful lot of equipment before making such a crossing. Pathetic little men running away, empty handed.
