Yes I´ve got the exact same glitch. Solution: save your character, go back to main menu, reload -> and voila its there.

No need for that...just retry a few times and cancel out with B if you get the wrong tab. Sometimes (like once in three or four tries or something like that) you'll get the proper tab :-D

I'm actually debating paying the $3 for this. How much extra will it hold? Does it offer any other benefit?

From what I have seen,it's just a cool little imp guy that carries the Hero's Chest on it's back...you can summon him in the middle of nowhere and dump stuff in the chest, which is convenient...no other adantages per say but he looks good and considering how I love this game being on a console and all,I was glad to send 3 bucks to Ascaron for this.

IN the options menu when you select what kind of items to pick up (everything, 1*, 2*, etc) is that just the minimum it will pick up or only just what you set it to?

This game is fucking impossible to read on a SDTV set up. The menus in game are already small making the text even that much harder to read. Its terrible.

That's the minimum. It'll pick up anything at or above that level, though I sometimes pick up lower stuff for some reason. It's a great way to cut down on clutter in your inventory once you get to a certain level.

Well, I finished up the main quest on silver last night. It's kind of amazing how quickly you can go through just the main quest line if you really want to. I figured I'd get my silver playthough over with so I could move on to gold. Pretty easy to do.

The last area was quite a surprise. Very cool. Sadly, I didn't get anything particularly noteworthy from any of the last bosses. I get some of the best stuff at the most random times (I found a set piece that I needed in a magical hiding place the other day).

Anyway, I think I might focus my solo time on a new character for the shadow campaign, but I'll still switch over to my high elf anytime someone wants to do some co-op, so just let me know!

I'm trying to decide between a dryad and an inquisitor. I did get up to level 9 or so with a dryad and it seemed like a good time, and I know Cornballer is having a lot of success with one. Anyone playing an inquisitor? What's the experience like?

Also, if there are any achievement whores here interested in the Scrooge achievement, you can purchase mounts, get blacksmithing services, and do rune trading and still get this achievement. Just don't buy anything from a merchant.

I might join you on Gold soon if I finish up this weekend. What level are you at now?

Dryad is fun, but there's not a lot of variety to how I play - I just stroll in and start spamming darts. I don't really use any of the more varied attack styles, but I might start screwing around with that soon. Inquisitor was something I thought of using for my next pick, but I might do a Temple Guardian. There are some Inquisitor builds over at darkmatters if you want to poke around there.

Yup, probably going to buy that.

This is why I quit playing my dryad. Run to one spot, hold down attack, wait for everything to die. Rinse and repeat. Was boring for me, and I didn't care for the dart guns.

I think I'm 57. I can't remember exactly where I ended up.

Thanks for the link. I was checking out the info they have at Sacred Wiki, and it seems like it might be easy to turn him into a tank. I might do that since it's basically the exact opposite of what I'm doing now. Maybe I'll actually be able to get by without dying.

Wow, that and the Inquisitor's sets are pretty awesome-looking.

I was amazed as well. I started on gold almost a week ago, and I definitely flew through a lot of the main quest while ignoring some of the side quests about half way through. I finished Silver with only about 30% of the map explored!

Since I've been playing on Gold, I've realized just how big this world really is. I've been just wandering about exploring roads and areas I didn't check out in Silver, and I have even been coming across new enemies I never saw during my first playthrough. That's just amazing.

I met my first real challenge on Gold yesterday though. I found some Banshee mini-boss, which proceeded to kick my ass for a while. I think it killed me 4-5 times. I had a wicked survival bonus going too. Oh well. :D

Sometimes I think this game can read my mind.

After downloading the patch last night, I spent several hours tracking down the Lich General, and completing the Undead Legion quest line. I had so been looking forward to picking up my very first legendary weapon, and joining the ranks of the cool kids club. Well, once the bastard finally went down and gave up his Boneslicer, I was dismayed by the unimpressive stats, and discovered that I'd already had several three-stars swords in my inventory which were considerably more powerful! Disappointing, to say the least.

However, on my way back home, I accidentally stumbled across this massive underground dungeon, which led into a haunted mine underneath the mountains. It took quite awhile to clean out that place, but once I finally emerged on the other side, I had been rewarded with two set pieces to Denderan's Tactical Genius. So, my effort in coming out all that way had been rewarded, after all. :D

Was just reading about the decidedly fourth-wall-breaking quest "An Empty Office".

Seems like you can get some great stuff at the end of it, despite how terribly boring it sounds. Still, I feel like I'll do it anyway.

Has anyone done it already? I wonder how long the whole process takes.

A friend of mine has done it and said it was between 6-7 hours. I'd have to be REALLY bored to try it.

Just an FYI: my fucking PS3 (60GB) just bit the dust (permanent blinking red light of death), so I won't be on Sacred 2 until it's fixed.

Fuck, makes me want to get a 360--at least their piece of shit hardware won't cost me $150 to fix.

At least in my experience, they were such dicks about it too, hardware has become very fragile and frustrating. If you want decent graphics.

Armantin's Armor from Armantin's Legacy

Armor 153

demonic blow + 4

Tactics Lore + 4

Too bad I'm using a necro build and therefor need Astral Lord boosts, not this. :(

My sera build is lvl34 by now - and has its problems.
It is an absolute blast against common enemies, and really great for mob control - but very weak against bosses. I kinda refocused it from Radiant Pillar to Archangels Wrath / Flaring Nova/ BFG. This kinda helps, at least against the story bosses. But the other bosses (Bloodclaw and Thranak) curbstomped my sera rather quickly. Now I´ll change my build plan even further, probably taking Riding as my next skill, so I´ll never have to dismount again.

The leaderboards don´t update my character, its still shown as lvl9. Any hint or tip?

The Inquisitor can be fun, but its best if you go into it with what kind of Inq you want to play, as there are a lot of different strategies to him.

My Inq runs Purifying Chastisement and Zealous Doppelganger as buffs and I use Clustering Maelstrom (low level) to group enemies, then Levin Array the mob, then start dropping Ruthless Mutilation on them (180* group attack). He's a damage monster and the more I get hit, the more I do (thats the effects of Purifying Chastisement).

Meanwhile my Doppelganger is typically spamming the crap out of the Nefarious Netherworld spells, which I ate a good bit of runes for just for him. Nothing quite like my Inq crushing the first wave and the Doppelganger exploding all their corpses as the second wave comes in.

Got to be careful with the Doppelganger though, he'll start casting Doppelganger on himself, then that doppelganger will do the same, and on and on. I've never had huge problems with this, but some people have reported like a dozen doppelgangers running around with them, directly before it makes the system crash. If this should happen to you the best way to avoid it is to debuff Zealous Doppelganger and rebuff it, it clears out every doppelganger.

Agreed. The two sad things are: 1) I'm 99% sure it's either a fan failure or a temp. sensor failure, both of which will probably cost them like $5 to fix; and 2) they make no concessions for anyone, even though I own over 200 PlayStation-branded software titles (PS3, PSP, PS2, and PSOne).

Any idea how quick their turn-around time is?

This is kind of what I decided to go with. I'm focused a lot of skills just on basics like dual wield, armor lore, etc., and I went ahead a put clustering maelstrom and ruthless mutilation on a combo, which is a great way to make the bodies go flying. And I have been running Purifying Chastisement, which is working surprisingly well at a low level, but I don't spend that much time at low health because I just don't have very much of it yet. Later on, I'm sure that buff will be invaluable. The only problem right now is bosses. I haven't found a great way to do a lot of damage on them yet.

Current PS3 turnaround times are very, very quick. About a week.

Finally got my copy (PS3) the other day and installed it today. Kinda amazed that the canadian copy has italian VA (not so good) and italian text. Gotta give big props to these devs.
Is it normal that I just downloaded some 69mb files before the installation began?

Changed my mind, the italian VA isn't so bad.
Too bad the game is a constant screen tearing.

Is anyone else's 360 consistantly freezing with this game? It happens every once in awhile when I complete a side quest.

Never had a freeze before, but after DLing the patch my 360 froze right as I was about to kill a side quest boss. POwered off and on, and was able to finish the job.

I carried along 4 fellow Ancarians into the final boss with my Inquisitor. I started to enjoy their company after a while :lol

What's the marketplace for? When in the options screen I have the ability to use marketplace with the square button, but pressing it tells me there are no objects available.
The manual tells me nothing about it, at least I didn't seem to find it.

Thats weird. I had the same problem with Fracture. Velvet Assassin, Star Ocean 4, and Operation Darkness all ran perfectly fine. Oh well, guess ill just trade this in for Red Faction.

Always. I have like 10 guys with me as we speak, not counting my skellies and such.

It was implemented in the recent patch, in preparation for future DLC. I think the only available d/l at the moment is the carrier imp.

In other news... holy tamale, this game is ridiculously huge. The dragon labyrinth is like a whole other continent below ground, complete with towns and merchants.

When creating a game is there always a level gap in place or is it possible to just invite someone even if they're way lower than 10 level gap in place? Just curious since I want to get rid of some of my stuff.

Not sure if this is another glitch or something else, but I'm stuck. I'm doing The Forgotten City part of the main questline, just got to the southwestern island, and I have to talk to someone. I can clearly see the ?! that indicates where they are, but the person is under the deck. I can't go into the water to get down there, so I can't for the life of me figure out how to continue. Help?

This game is just so much fun. I love kicking the shit out of things with my Shadow Warrior. I first started with a Dryad and had a few problems since it was my first character so I kinda feel I may need to go back and work on her. Such a fun game. I may even shell out the $3 for the Imp. I normally hate DLC but I kinda want to support Ascaron and it does sound useful. I paid $10 less(more with taxes) for it at Amazon that I would have at Gamestop anyway so I'm still coming out way ahead. The game is so worth $60.

Same here. Even though I really have no need for the carrier imp, I know that Ascaron desperately needs our support, so every little bit helps their cause. I hope they sell enough copies to ensure that we'll see Sacred 3.

- Choose the character you want on the leaderboards
- Create a new game
- Select 'Free Play'
- Select the same difficulty level you're using for your campaign
- Once the game starts, immediately exit (without saving)
- Character is now on leaderboards
