From what I remember.the manga just primarily focuses on Usagi and Mamoru

Hey he didn't tell Luna to talk.
Watching episode 10 of the original anime to compare.
Shoujo writing at the core.
Well there's alsoto write about!Chibiusa
I already did that waiting for the new episode to be released. Aside from the two main plot points (the demon bus abducting people and Sailor Mars entering the scene) there's really not much similarity between them.
So like, isJadeite dead
because that was a weird and kinda of a bad fight
Yes.
Seriously? Because it looked likehe just did a teleport and disappeared.
Yes.
Also (preview spoiler)and if you watched the Preview, you see Jadeite's eyes (I'm sure it's him and not Zoisite), meaning they've changed things for the next episode.
The preview was nothing but cuts from the first two episodes. They didn't show any footage of episode 4.

Weird, I saw ep 4 stuff like the treasure
Mars did have the best transformation sequence I think.
Also what was up with the "let's transform so we can teleport" thing? Didn't get that at all. Also how do they keep getting gadgets from the Sailor V game, is Luna just messing with them by making them play a game to earn them or what? So weird. Luna shitting the devices out was better imo.

The game is part of a secret project cooked up by Luna and Sailor V in order to provide the other scouts with the gadgetry they need if I recall correctly.
Okay what about the teleportation?
It was never explicitly explained outside of using the power of their transformations. They do it a few times throughout the series. No idea on that one.
Seems pretty clear they're pacing this like the manga. So are they just going to introduce a new Sailor Scout every episode until they all join the team? How many episodes are they planning for this series?
I read the chapter before this, and am watching the original anime now.
If anything feels lacking in Crystal it is the score. =/
Luna shitting the devices out was better imo.
Unfortunately Rei is not as hot in the new Sailor Moon as she was in the original. Don't get me wrong, she's still sexy, but something feels a little off. It might be the posing, or it could just be the animation at play. Aside from personality dynamics, a lot of the Sailor Senshis' sex appeal (for me anyways) boils down to the delicate relationship between the hemline and thighs. In the original series this is managed with care and sensitivity. The artistic sensibilities of the animators allowed for the maximum amount of leg to be shown, while keeping the physics of the unrealistically tiny skirt grounded (mostly) in reality. Of course there is some exaggeration happening, but it's within acceptable boundaries for the most part, and I don't recall the skirts looking so at odds with physics or motion either. The skin and cloth duo sing to each other in perfect harmony as the artist understands that one element exists to define the other. Without either, the appeal is lost. Sensual nods to the viewer without crossing into voyeuristic or male gaze territory require experienced hands and delicate foresight... and I wouldn't expect it of your average in-betweener. However, in the updated version the skirt physics call far more attention to themselves, flapping and moving about in awkward ways (like some kind of wild teenager with no manners or finesse), and holding still positions that are even more impossible in reality. Sensuality is lost. Regrettably... this, along with other inconsistencies leads one to believe that the hands at Toei Animation are just not as skilled as they once were.
Rei's face felt weirder than the other (I did not read the manga, so still getting used to aesthetics).
This version felt early and underwhelming in comparison...Also, in the old anime didn't Jadeite die in a battle at an airport?
