i dunno but there's a difference between good manga adaptation and bad manga adaptation.

i guess watching JoJo in the same season is exposing the flaws of this adaptation even more. that series is also finished so the animation team has time to plan and make the episodes and it seems like a much better job. these guys here are dropping the ball hard by making the budget so low and not putting more effort. it doesn't help that they're cutting some stuff and doing some weird changes to how things progress in the manga.
the quality they have here doesn't justify this dreadful schedule whatsoever. it looks like the quality of a show that has 2 eps per week.

I kinda already had a bad feeling when Toei made all these promises that they didn't live up to; saying it will come out in 2013 but came out in 2014, saying it will weekly but was biweekly, and saying Tohru Furuya will come back but he didn't. :/

Mars is my fave and they did a good enough job with her for me to continue watching for now (despite her being inferior to the original version and the sloppy art that actually seems to be getting WORSE as the show goes on, usually shows improve in that regard :/).
Or is it just gonna be the trio vs. Nephlite for now?

Honestly, this played out pretty similarly to the anime episode, though it seems to be adding its own bits now.

Not sure how I feel about the Shitenou yet. At first I thought they made the change because they didn't want the girls to be killers, but Beryl didn't punish Jadeite either...

I say he dodged a bullet there. Yes, it would've been nice, but I'm happy on his behalf that he didn't participate in this failure. No matter how much I try, I really cannot stop picking on certain things in the new anime, solely because of the animation.

This episode had some really nice moments though, I'm a huge sucker for MamoUsa and OH HEY look where they put the budget. lol
