I'm probably hundreds of minutes late to the post on this, but did anyone wind up blowing a huge amount of money (all in for me) on a fake Tensi vs God Rugal (non-CvS version at that)? I was fucking HYPE seeing that I'd make something like 300K on a sure bet wondering why no one was betting Tensi and then the match happened...

Please don't tell me I was the only one that saw that Prinny vs. Vegeta upset just now.
(I am so lucky I backed out of going all in on Prinny at the last second)
I figured he had it the moment he summoned reinforcements so I was shocked when Vegeta blasted through all of them.
EDIT: @Frantic: Like someone said before, never go all in on a DBZ match.

Wasn't all in, but it still hurts. I've got 36k left.
I've lost 20k since last Shaker's classic. Half of it was lost on Bulleta vs Hoshi-Kage. Bulleta ain't Hood, I learned that much.
Wish I remembered that they had mexihealth/damage/everything.
Still, Tenma did real good. Also can't believe that they made this character, she's like mentioned in an extras book that most people have never read before, and they have a full character + sprite and everything. Props to whoever made her.

Ugh, if there is something I don't like of the new additions is that they added way too many "Radditz SSJ4": potato AI + impossibly high HP + stupidly high damage.
Even legit characters have issues against these potatoes since they only need 1 "opening" and the battle is over. (And thanks to their stupid Health, it's going to happen)

Edit: I almost went all in on missingno, but then I remembered 'Ten is good, isn't she?' and promptly switched my bet to her... but only bet 100.
I keep making good betting decisions, but not putting enough money down on them. :/

I lost 5 grand on Prinny vs the big sprite Vegeta. Prinny more or less had it each time, but it turns out that throwing Prinny in MUGEN is the same as throwing a Prinny in Disgaea. He explodes and dies.

EDIT: Actually, never bet Nippon Ichi seems more accurate. Even Asagi and Priere are crap
It also includes 'cinematic' supers, so Prinny has quite a few bad matchups. He's really good, otherwise.
Edit: Why did I bet on Bleach. Saw DS version of Ichigo and thought 'maybe he'll be good!' Pfft. He's as bad as his manga.

They are a funny bunch, but extremely dumb at times. For example, sometimes one of them stays fighting at >20% health vs someone who would take that amount on a single attack.
At the same time, their character switching really screws up some legit characters. From what I have seen, Reisen is pretty consistent in the way she makes them do really stupid crap.

I hate nothing more than a fake whatever getting insanely skewed bets, and then clutching out a round five win and preserving the rich people's mistake money anyway. It happens so often.
Damn it, Not even based Kira can kill those creeps. She was kinda close, but not enough... maybe Neptune can do it.
I have to say that it was predictable, but It would have been nice to see one of those things defeated by a legit character.
And yeah, I still can't believe people put that thing as an underdog.
It's becoming increasingly common, I wonder if salty touched something.

See: Heika nearly defeating a Vega in a crazy upset, and then as usual, as soon as the favored guy is 0-2 their AI suddenly turns on and the underdog's turns off for the next two rounds, followed by a close fifth round where the favored one wins.
This has been happening a lot lately, to the point where I'm honestly wondering if there is some kind of AI balance thing happening here.
Oh yeah like I said, a few days back there was a gigantic Armor Jack upset vs. some OP DBZ character (you might recognize the table flip last page), it was something like 2 million for Armor Jack. Of course, nobody knew that the DBZ was broke as fuck but Armor Jack losing 3-0? Eh. That, with Kira owning all day today was what caused those ridiculous odds.

After the Wario vs Predator fight I'm starting to think the same thing. Predator won 2 rounds and then Wario's AI become a lot more aggressive.
An "AI balance" would be so incredibly hard to do. AI difficulty levels technically exist, but most characters don't actually support them, so in order for Salty to implement this kind of system, he would probably have to alter the AI of every single character.
Thus far, every one of Salty's edits has been either giving a character enormous health or enormous damage, which are about the simplest things you can do.
