All my bias aside I thought the tourney went better than most people are saying. There were some stinker matches in the first round, but pretty much everything afterwards was fine. It's not the best of the SCs but stream monsters tend to go "WORST BRACKET EVER" after every SC anyways

I'd say the highlights were the first round match between Rocky and Kinyo Roadshow, the Polon vs Monster Ball match, and the Grand Final.

Only the first round was close (Ghetto had it, then Nekomo clutched it) then it wasn't close after.

It's probably a case of Salty not installing the AI patch(as is the case with DMC3 Dante). Gotta install the AI patch, otherwise he's a big ol' potato.

And then, with the AI patch, he's kinda hot and cold. He has hitconfirms that would make Volnutt proud, and his combos are really cool to watch and they do a ton of damage, but... the AI seems to drop combos more than OMGiTzAndre. If he doesn't drop his combos, and decides to use Royal Guard like he's Felicia, it's possible for him to beat lvl 100 Motonari. That's rare as fuck, though.

The googoo64 tourney was laughter-inducing, if a bit boring due to some ridiculously broken characters. I won 5K on the first Magma fight due to 1:2 odds (seriously, who bets against it?), lost 3K on a bet against the girl riding a duck/pterodactyl, then made it back up by going all in with my 13K on each Antman or Magma fight (1:10 odds meant I still made 1.3K on each).

I didn't get to stay around for the finals, though. Who won the Magma vs Antman fight?

10:1 odds on Nanoha XP vs Girion. I wasn't expecting that. Thought everyone knew by now that Nanoha XP was broke as fuck.

I got a nice 31k out of it, and it was the first time I was the highest better on the list, haha.

Edit: There is a Guts that I downloaded(that looks like the one that just showed up) that is legit demi-god status. This Guts is not that Guts.

While I'm not surprised to learn people still don't know Toron is mexi, it turns out Ultraman also has bad HP

My only regret is not betting more

Also, today is officially Upset Sunday.


So many upsets these last few matches, even poor Maxime was victim to one.

Not even joking, these past 7 matches (except for 1 Gideon fight) have all been upsets.

There's literally an upset going on right now (Komepo vs. Master Ryu)

The other day I downloaded MB-02 to see it closely and I was impressed, that dude is cheap as it gets:
- Mexihealth
- Jumps out of combos (A la tourney Goku)
- His drain grab is instant, and has a surprisingly long range.
- Can cancel everything into everything.

In general, I'm surprised that this guy manages to lose against non completely broken characters.

Tenma-sama usually gets to fight broken tier characters... is her curse for being so awesome. (Someone should send an edit that defaults on her 12p to see her destroy 99.9% of the current roster)

No that was real Kongou, Kagura just abused his big blind spot and played it smart (also she must have high damage since even with Kongou's gold form she was doing damage). Kongou's not that great, people just really bet high on him for some reason.

Didn't know. Only time I ever saw Kagura she looked like a total potato, didn't know she was that good.
