the granny blobfish? ShShe gives you the last ticket I believe. You find her and then you look for her five grandchildren.
Yeah, had to restart more than 10 times for that one.
Oh well, just completed a speedrun 100% in 2:34:06. Alright I guess, got all achievements now!

Good lord this game is non-stop amazing. The main theme sounds like it would be right at home in Bayonetta, the soundtrack itself is incredibly catchy (Jake delivers again), cool art style, and just fun/fast paced in general. Just like Shovel Knight, I need this soundtrack asap.

So does no one like the singing song??? Dance through the Danger? I really like it...
The composition of the song itself is great, taking a sample of the Burning Town motif that's popped up in every game in the series so far and upping the amount of energy in the track works well for creating an energetic title track that gets you pumped for the main game. The lyrics on the other hand...does not. They're not terrible but they add nothing to the overall enjoyment of the track, which could be said for the majority of the voice work in the Shantae series in terms of their enhancement of the overall enjoyment of the games that utilize them.
I really like it. Cristina Vee is great. But I would still like an instrumental version.
And the latest email confirms that the backer-digital soundtrack contains multiple exclusive tracks, and seems to say that the backer-physical even contains one track more than the backer-digital, so that's at least three bonus tracks, making pretty good odds that an instrumental version will be possible.
How can you not like it? Its sounds pretty good and really gets you pumped for the stage ahead. Maybe its because i'm already a fan of when games do things similar to Bayonetta 1 and 2's themes? But it works out nicely.
On that note, those remains kinda threw me for a loop. Mouse puzzles too until i realized what was going on lol.

Wow thanks for the responses guys! I've been reading a lot of complaints about it (not just here but other places as well) so I was sad. Such a good song plus it was sung by Shantae (Cristina Vee)! I'm satisfied now.
Did you get everything from the stages, those 4 "clue" things before the final boss, & unlocked all the gallery doors, then talked to the mayor for your reward?I just did and it said 99%

Theres an npc in Mermaid Falls that wants it. Gotta solve some mousy puzzles.

Give it to
the wizard in Mermaid Falls. You need to go through the maze with the mouse, starting in the top right corner (the area before you enter the factory).
Took me a while to figure this out, but
after getting the Mouse transformation, go to Mermaid Falls & look for a platform in the middle of the stage where there's a small hole for you to enter. When you do, go to the left & follow the path, you should end up in an area where there's a bright light, it'll turn into a person & you give it to them
Thankfully, that was really the one time I had absolutely no idea what to do next, compared to Pirate's Curse which had about 3 of them.

The Great Escape, avoid all gears during the escape slide. I assume that this is the last sequence of the game? I didnt hit a single gear, yet the trophy didnt pop
That is correct. Did you attempt this a 2nd time by just dying, then retrying the stage? Because it won't count if you do it that way, you MUST replay the entire final boss to get another attempt.
.....but thankfully, just use flamethrower or lightning to just hover in the air, especially if you've got all the items.

Hey guys, I've always wanted to get a Shantae game but I never had the chance. I plan to fix that with this game but I have a question: Should I go with the Wii U or PS4 version?
I was considering getting the Vita version, but a friend says that's the worst version so I'll just let it go in that case. I don't know which of the two versions to get though and I would love some opinions so I can make a decision.

I don't think there's any bottom screen stuff so PS4 is probably best
Go with PS4. One level has framerate issues but those will probably be fixed in a patch. From what I hear tell the Wii U version has a few special effects turned off here and there.

Jumping for the PS4 version might be the best option on the slight chance you're a physical collector. Both predecessors, Risky's Revenge and Pirate's Curse, recently received a minimal pressing from a small company in the United States, but they're officially sold out through the distributor so you'll have to settle with second-hand sellers. Of course, they'll likely take a cut into your wallet with their increasing rarity in the process. I've heard nice things about the PS4 version in terms of performance, too, so you'll have a window open to grab those if you happen to try Half-Genie Hero on disc and find yourself wanting the other titles down the road for your collection.
84% with 1:48. Last few minutes have been grinding gems from the transformation & buying the final things I need before the final battle.
I imagine I should hit 3 hours easily at this rate. Would be awesome if I managed to get both speedrun trophies at the same time, but I doubt it.

I loved it and outside of the pacing not being as fast compared to Pirates Curse, I had very little issues with this one. Such a strong platformer and might be my game of the year. Still thinking about that, but this might get that honor. WayForward really knocked it out of the park here and I'm really excited about the free Character DLC coming out in 2017!

!While you're at it you should pick up the other two Shantae games on PSN since they're both on sale right now. You can't go wrong with Risky's Revenge at $2.49 and Pirate's Curse at $4.99.

There's nothing particularly wrong with the Vita version, I mean there is some slowdown but it's only when there are a number of big explosions on the screen which occurs in like a couple of boss fights and one part of the first stage.
