Makes sense. Awesome Japan is all about improvised streams. They should do an improvised found-footage-like stream with their smartphone.

Red shirt, divert power from the rear shields!
Unable to divert power sir. A multiphasic shitstorm has depolarized our hype drive.

Apparently there's a bunch of power plants along the coast that the typhoon is hitting. Wouldn't be surprised about brownouts honestly.Rolling blackouts in Tokyo apparently.
I'm more worried about the remorse of not buying a capsule toy... must resist...Are you seriously likely to have buyer's remorse of an additional $20 for Shenmue III. sometime in 2017?
are they? i mean, last one was some guy's garage, this one might be econo lodge lobby level
Great, so Shenmue 3 is cursed and now the whole of Tokyo is suffering for it? Typical Japanese manga plot I tell ya.
Shenmue3Official: Please be patient for a little more. Our PC did not like the sudden power outage. It will be ready in a moment.
Ah. Awesome Japan doesn't know about surge protectors. From the chat:

so, i don't know if i ever told you this, GAF
up until retiring a year or two back, my mom was a medical transcriptionist. for the last decade or so, she primarily worked for a hospital, but she did a lot of her part-time work from her home office, where she kept several external backup power supplies just to make sure she could keep working through a few hours of a storm if need be.
what i mean to say is: my elderly mom was more prepared for a part-time job than awesome japan was here. i just wanted to share that.
