He should run so fast that he crosses dimensions into the MCU and also goes back in time to before Age of Ultron and then meets up with MCU Quicksilver and they have a buddy movie.

It's a shame what they did with the MCU version. Especially after Civil War and the complete lack of similar results.

I think the idea of a prequel would probably work better -- it gives him an excuse to be on his own rather than attached to the X-Men, and it can take place during an early time period in his life where his powers are still developing. He can be de-powered enough so as not to present a plotting problem and the stakes don't have to be the fate of the entire planet.

One of the nice things about Deadpool was that it's mostly just a story about a guy trying to get back his girlfriend. At no point are entire cities or countries threatened with annihilation.

Give him greater definition. If you make an excellent movie starring Quicksilver, it'll succeed because he was the coolest part in both movies.
