No giant Collectors Edition, everything in Alphabetic order, everything standing "straight".

I don't see a "gaming setup" here. I see two shelves on a bookcase with some 360 games on them.

42in Panasonic plasma, 360 Surround Sound system, 360 Jasper Arcade that's been Frankenstein'ed to the level of an Elite (runs so much quieter that it's worth it being white). Cable box (darn Cable One), 60 GB back-compatible PS3 on the bottom shelf, Wii to the left, and even a 360 HD-DVD player. You'll see above that, yes, I do own quite a few HD-DVDs (What can I say? They're cheap) so it gets use.

Have the same stand with a 46 on it. Just picked up some new cases to show off soon. My cats jump around on the stand, and could use a sharpie on the edges..

That TV looks really small compared to the size of your room. Pretty good setup though.

What's with the yellow SNESes GAFFers?
Get some grey ones people.

Nice system choice regardless:p

@PXG: Is the mouse pad made of real boobs or are they implants? Are they still fun to squeeze?

yeah my tv is small as fuck (26'') but i'm really poor so i can't really do any better

if i get really into a game i'll sit on the floor

Here's my current setup, I apologize but the images have a weird stretch look after they were resized:

Do you have a bed or do you sleep on the floor too?

Actually, I think it looks ugly. I'm more of a fan of having that "book" look to a shelf. Different sizes and different shapes, different placements. The standardized CDs and DVDs make shelves look sterile and boring.

By all means, not insulting your setup or enjoyment of it (I used to have the same type of fascination, I should dig up my old pictures).

I'm with Sebastard - HAAAATE when game cases are anything but what is standard. Like, to a point where I hate how the PSP and PS3 spines have changed during the lives of the libraries. That totally drives me nuts. Or the fact that one game in my PS3 collection - Resistance - is one of those stupid red cases. I got it from Goozex, not knowing it would be, and the instant I got it I no longer wanted it.

I'm already not a fan of collector's editions, but I specifically won't buy them because they're typically stupid, goofy one-off cases. I also hate when the standard case is somehow different, and I'm not given the choice at all; for example, in my Blu-ray library, Iron Man can't be mixed in with the rest of the titles, because it has a cardboard slip case (ugh), but unlike the rest of the ones I've bought like that the actual case itself is not a standard case. Like, as in, the cover isn't a full cover, and is specifically meant to be paired with that slip case. So, it keeps the slip case, but then has to be on the end by itself.

Also, while I'm not really a books kind of person, I have had manga collections, and when I did I first sorted my collection by physical size and then alphabetically. No way in the world could I stand to look at the shelf if I had books of all different sizes just mixed in together. *laughs* I'd rather throw the entire collection away and no longer have it than look at that.

And yes, I'm quite aware so people will think I'm utterly insane.

Just moved into a new house. Still need to get more artwork.

Office where most of the gaming action happens:

Great room here. Inside the media center is a PS3, 360, and Wii. Media center PC was recently put in a Lian Li V354 (not pictured). Finally able to reduce clutter and put all the game boxes inside the coat closet behind the picture.

Where do you even buy a desk that short?

I have another one, but it's filled with anime figures. :P

I was thinking of putting Transformers in the other one, but I'll just stick with putting in classic consoles for now. :)

I apologize in advance for the bad pic and messy desk:

I've been thinking about going with green for my living room walls, and your photos may have just fully convinced me.

It's not really a desk... more of a coffee table but the little shelf holds my Macbook Air very nicely. I haven't found the right desk, I kind of want an old vintage metal one but no cash for it at the moment. I kind of like sitting on the floor though, and not having a chair makes this little room a little less cluttered.

This is a pretty cool place. Stylish tv stand. I just don't know if I could use the floor when sitting at my desk. I need to get some olympic plushies before they are impossible to find.

It was your setup that made me obsessive towards finding something in the glossy white! I ended up getting it at Ikea, in the as-is. Apparently it was "scratched" so it was marked down 50%. The GF and I built it, not a fucking mark on it. Then we went back the next week, they had the matching wall shelf in as-is, already built, half price also in mint condition. I had some good ass luck.
