no PS3 BC since they want people to use PS Now
Lol please go away.
no PS3 BC since they want people to use PS Now
I am sure that I am not alone when I say this but I was hyped about the so called AAA JRPG from SCE Japan.
#BanVerendus![]()
Bu-But my mythical Verendus JRPGs!!!
That's disappointing, regarding JRPG. I need a new Legend of Dragoon.![]()
NOPE NOPE NOPE
Also #BanVerendus, I want my fucking JRPG from Sony :'(

First party not working on a JRPG does not mean another studio, similar to FROM with Bloodborne, isn't for Sony.
They didn't ask about Team Siren and Kojima leaving Konami?![]()
Chances are there ARE jRPGs in development but Shu's under NDA or doesn't want to spoil the surprise.
*Sony’s first party and second party studios are developing over 30 games, maybe even 40 or 50 (at the end, though, he ended with “I have no idea” so the numbers are probably even more vague than they sound).
Why is this site banned?

But when he was asked about Wipeout at EGX he said never say never and all games are under consideration but now he's saying a flat out no.
Can't wait for the year 2020, when Sony still won't have an own Jrpg 'that rivals FF'.The question was: Can we expect a Sony made JRPG in the near future?
Yoshida said no.
Verendus said their is a JRPG in Japan Studio but it is very early in development and a long way out. No ban is deserved here.

I think its more of Cell being an issue.
I want to know if PS1/PS2 Classic mean that BC will follow naturally, since they're emulated already.
It's not that crazy powerful anymore from awhile.
*Sonys first party developers wont make any JRPG in the foreseeable future (again, the answer was a clear cut no to whether we can expect any or not).
Yo, Shuhei.
You should probably have *some* idea of how many games your studios are making.
If you really don't, that's kind of amazing.
Did MS have CELL inside the Xbox 360?Disappointed about the BC. Lots of ps3 games I would like to give a look personally. Tons of people came to ps4 from the 360. Seems like a missed opportunity especially since MS proved it's possible.

Instead of banning Dualshockers, why not ban Verendus?
NOPE NOPE NOPE

Shu should use a little thing called a spreadsheet I've heard it helps a lot![]()
Lots of console wars nonsense over there. Wouldn't be surprised if they got banned from GAF for posting false info.

Sony JRPG still exists. Last I knew, they were pushing past pre-production. We're also pushing forward with approaching more people to get further projects off the ground.
You guys have so little faith in Verendus, I tell ya! No reason to as well as he's been right many times before (excluding extenuating circumstances revolving around delays). Just waiting for dat Verendus post.
I think it's both.
Maybe wipeout not going to happen so he gave a PR answer, JRPG is happening so he straight out lie.
Unless he don't want a Bloodborne sequal.
*Yoshida-san gave a clear cut answer on the fact that PS4 wont have backwards compatibility with PS3 (literally, the answer was no on whether its going to happen or not).
Well, fuck.*Sonys first party developers wont make any JRPG in the foreseeable future (again, the answer was a clear cut no to whether we can expect any or not).
I'm glad he decided to be straight regarding that.
I don't think it had a release date (or window, for that matter).
Is that really so hard?
They even have a system to let you know when your friends join a party. Seems like making it so it tells when they log in shouldn't be that hard
Bloodborne is co-developed by Sony's Japan Studio.
