... Hyping a review, much?

I thought I'd give my review since we're about to see everyone else's.

Okay, I think basically what it is is that you show Zelda and then right after that we showed Uncharted, and just the difference in graphics and just adult nature of Uncharted...the graphics were beautiful.

And the evolution of gameplay...it doesn't feel like we've really graduated from what we experienced in Ocarina of Time.

And how great would a Zelda game be on a modern console with modern graphics.

They embargo ends at 12 PST.

Let's give reviewers credit, they can understand timezones.

Three hours until critical meltdown.

Hmm... Stay up until 3:00 (EST here) for the reviews, or go to sleep soon to be better rested for classes? The latter is being more responsible, but the former is more fun and would allow me to witnesses potential meltdowns in real-time. It's definitely tempting.

And in first person. Don't forget about the first person.

I wonder how many journalists are watching this thread, eager to write articles on our overreactions?

Hi Kotaku!

what do you mean, we've already experienced it man. you just have to play batman: arkham city. not only is it modern in graphics and day 1 dlc, but it has a maturity in story that zelda doesn't, it's dark, gritty, it has sex appeal. you look at the top games these days, they're really challenging adult films when it comes to emotional cinematic experiences, yet zelda is happy to fall behind.

That wouldn't work for me. Once I'm asleep, I'm out for good for the night. I'm going to try to power through. I would play Skyrim, but I have doubts about how well it will run on my laptop. Oblivion ran okay, but it's a much older game and $60 is a big risk. I'm going to keep an eye on the PC performance thread to see how things go.
