I'll have that code please, if it's alright.
If you buy that game with it that would be cool, if not, alright too xD Gonna send you a pm.

So has there been any word on whether the 360 or Ps3 version is better??
Someone posted in this thread that the only notable difference is more fibrant colours in the 360 version.
Has it been said if the Hi-Res pack for PC is day one? I'm wondering if we'll be able to pre-load/download it soon...
I'm a little bummed how much gunplay seems to take a back seat. I was hoping there would be a good balance, at least that's the impression that I got from some of the trailers. Oh well, the melee looks like it'll make up for it
When is the reviews embargo ending?
There's always a difference in colors when it comes to multiplat PS360 titles, you have to readjust the contrast\brightness settings on your TV when you switch between systems. I thought this was a given 6 years into the fricken generation lmao.
But still, I hear 360 has more vibrant colors! PS3 is dark! Well guess which system you calibrated your T.V. to work with brother.
For me, it's a pain in the ass and I don't give a shit.
I have quite an old sammy and I can calibrate my setting per input device. How old is your tv?
I am way too excited for this game.
Today's agenda is to power through the rest of the "get pumped for sleeping dogs" marathon. Still have Hard Boiled, The Killer and A Better Tomorrow to watch. Trying to throw in 2 martial art flicks in the vein of the game but for the life of me cannot come up with anything.
Can you report back how well it plays on PS3?Hey guys, reporting live from Hong Kong, here's the Hong Kong Limited Edition I just picked up from the store 30 minutes ago.
It says "3 contents" but there're actually four DLC included with this edition.
On the back of this is a set of DLC code, there is another voucher for another 3 sets of DLC, but it's just a white sheet of paper so not worth taking a photo of.
That's it, pretty shitty "Limited Edition", nothing out of the ordinary except the black plastic bag, which is the standard packaging for age-restricted materials like porn mags in Hong Kong.
Other then the ones i am watching today, over the past week i watchedYup, gonna watch my Hard Boiled brruu ray this week. Need to track down some more HK flicks to watch as well...

My main TV is from 2009, the other is from 2012. I actually pop this in when I switch between consoles and it's a long game : Disney WOW: World of Wonder.
Mines from 2008 and took per input calibration for granted in modern tv's. Guess I was wrong then.
I was talking to a multiplat developer once, and they told me that the PS3 and Xbox360 just render totally different. My thoughts are because the whole nvidia vs ATI thing. He stated that if you give a color to each console, they just do different things with them. If you want to get them to look the same you have to really fiddle with them (he was using a vectorscope lol). There's always a difference in colors when it comes to multiplat PS360 titles, you have to readjust the contrast\brightness settings on your TV when you switch between systems. Probably PST.Yep, the embargo ends at 12:01 on the 14th (I forget which time zone though)
Probably PST.
It's usually PST.
Sure, I plan to stay up pretty late playing this game tonight, I'll give some first impression before I go to bed (10:45PM right now, won't go to back till 2AM). I'm a local Hongkonger so I'm REALLY hyped for this. From what little I've played so far, the graphics is nothing special, but I haven't noticed any slow-down or screen tearing yet, everything's running silky smooth so far, average graphics is a trade-off I'm willing to make for a consistently stable performance. Can you report back how well it plays on PS3?
The voucher with the artwork on the pack is for "Hong Kong EXCLUSIVE DLC PREMIUM Deep Undercover Pack", I don't know what it includes because the DLCs aren't up on the PS Store yet, have to wait till the official release day tomorrow. The rest are Police Protection Pack, Martial Arts Pack and GSP Pack, which all you guys in the US and Europe get for pre-ordering the game.Hmm... if you could share what the fourth piece of content is, it would be appreciated!

I bet a lot of developers don't go through the hassle, since if most players won't notice, and besides as long as the game looks consistent with other games from that console, then the players screens will show a consistent output.
These DLC's sound ridiculously stupid and should be on the disc.

This is worse than bagged milk, I never knew they did this to games in HK, is it some special packaging to meet some mature audience rating or something?

I don't know why but I like this extra packaging...
Game pre-ordered. I traded in a bunch of stuff to Gamestop since I don't really console game anymore and ended up with $200 in steam giftcards. Sleeping dogs was my first purchase. Going to get to put that remote install thing to the test tomorrow while I'm working. Yay.
Steam has giftcards?

The black plastic bag is just a gimmick, this is the first game to do this (well, excluding Hentai stuff), usually they just put a sticker on the box if it's mature-rated, like this:This is worse than bagged milk, I never knew they did this to games in HK, is it some special packaging to meet some mature audience rating or something?

And as member "Manos: The Hans of Fate" pointed out, it's meant to mimic the M-rated DVDs/Magazines packaging in Hong Kong.
