Dammit Dice, no longer can I view this thread (or this more to the point this page) at work...

Ignore list for Dice. During work hours, naturally.

I agree, Dice, that she is currently the sexiest idol. No equal springs to mind.

Hyuna is Koreas Shakira confirmed?

The thing I like about K-Pop is that the variety side of things has a reciprocally supporting relationship with the music: I watch shows because I like someone's performance or album, and I look out for albums and performances from the people I've seen and liked on shows. I also appreciate the music in a different sense because I've seen the performers on shows (Hyunah, for example, on Invincible Youth) being (within the constraints and mode of variety tv) ordinary people - often doing humble or gently humiliating things. That tends to make me a fan not only in the sense of liking the stuff but in the sense that I feel like cheering them on. Not to a crazy degree, but it's definitely there.

I haven't discerned that kind of thing operating in any contemporary American or English, say, music scene. There's something very, very charmingly old-school about how the whole thing works, and the way it works is why, or largely why, Hyunah >>>>>>>>>> Shakira.

I was talking about the ass shaking sexy dancing. Who is a better singer/entertainer is another matter entirely.

But I agree with you on the way k-pop is completely different from everything out there, and in that sense its easy to see why it is becoming insanely popular around the world. All these shows bank on fans getting emotionally attached on some level to the singers no doubt.

She does not leave much to the imagination, that's for sure.

I think she cleans up really well. On IY she doesn't appeal to me at all, but in those gifs where she is all done up...

Speaking of IY, you see her doing the bean sprouts in episode 14?

is right...

Maybe that's what prompted the eating disorder/OCD gym sessions. She looks just a few lbs over golden age Yuri in that one.

Latest campus couple episode. I love how Eunjung reacts to all his clubbing stuff. Her on this show has definitely shot her up for me. She's got such an awesome blend of confidence, playfulness and stereotypical girliness.
Although she might also be slightly crazy in an actual relationship...lol

You've persuaded me. Another show to check out.

Manaan, that's just too cute. I can't handle WGM. I tried back when Khuntoria started and then again for Yongseo but I just can't do it.

I haven't seen any of the Khuntoria stuff, mainly cause I don't really know who either of those two are so I was never particularly interested in watching them. Yongseo I watched some but I couldn't get into it. They're both too mouse-like, at least as far as I've seen. I don't mind watching crazy people or ridiculous people or even strange people, but I don't like watching overly shy people. I think that's part of why I like the campus couple WGM, they're both older and more comfortable in their own skin so it makes it fun.

You were right about the campus couple being better suited - to each other and to the show - than a bunch of others.

She is so dreamy. Had to keep the subtitles for this one because it will likely be of good use later:

Got excited about upcoming Running Man when I saw Choi Min, but it's Choi Min Soo.

Choi Min Sik would be a crazy awesome guest.

No, she was his old classmate who was hot and seemed into him which made gumiho jealous/possessive.

Though Rainbow is the hottest group to me so my attention is torn between them, Noeul is looking especially good in that video.
