She's okay, yeah.. but Hyomin > Soyeon > Jiyeon and then her. Just over a month ago she was on top but damn, why cant she wear glasses like she did in the first two eps of dream high? :( She looks so much better like that, omgggg

I would say Hwayoung > Boram > Soyeon > Qri > Eunjung > Hyomin > Jiyeon

But just looks wise Eunjung would be nearer the top I guess

Hwayoung? Boram? Surely this list is in reverse order ;)

Thanks for that Sal (ABOUT THE VIDEOS, NOT YOUR FAUX PORN), both are quite old though right? I think your fav video has got to be the first youtube video I saw pop up when searching her name.

Also, thanks again for this thread. It's like the only constructive thread I've been posting in recently, I feel like a lot of gaf'ers are writing a lot of stupid or insensitive things in a blind panic these days (think your posting in some of the same as well Salazar). Also, Running Man.

Fake edit: Wanted to post my fav video, but it looks like Fuji TV has asked to take it down and I can't find a mirror. Sad times.

lol, is that the Inception music playing when they're pranking Gary ?

First 10 episodes has PotC, Sherlock Homes (Guy Richie version), & Inception in most episodes.

Fake edit: Bourne Identity and I'm pretty sure Avatar at some point as well. When a team wins, it's Kung Fu Panda. And of course 300 (both sound bites and music score). I'm pretty sure they rip the trailer music for all the films as well. So yes, tons upon tons of copywrite infringement. I'd imagine the only reason they get away with it is that these shows will never legally be exported outside their one time broadcast.

I think Hyuna would pose a physical threat to an attacker.

Damn, you're right. She's pretty crazy.

"OH NICE TO MEET YOU TOO!!"

I need to watch that episode of Mr Teacher.

They're pretty funny. G.NA has the impression that it's a slightly more serious show than they think it is.

Hyuna's like 'no, the important thing - the only thing - is to make jokes that don't get edited out'.

Do Korean shows not do reruns?

Both Drama's and Variety programs are repeated domestically apparently, but I've only ever seen Drama's and that was on the sister cable channel. I just asked some friends back in Seoul and they say that popular Dramas and Soaps are put on during the day for housewives who missed the evening broadcast, but then never shown again. Cable channels might run a full week of a drama after a while if it was popular (Boys over Flowers was on channel 27 for about 4 months, with one episode being shown a day, every week day for that duration). Variety programs used to get repeated, and occasionally do (like 1 week later) on cable channels, but not again afterwards. (Besides, variety programs are pretty situational, in a couple of years time 1/2 of the people shown in them will mean very little to younger audiences)

Bottom line is, if MBC or the likes tried to market Running Man outside S.Korea, they would be hit hard legally unless they paid some heavy fines for use. I doubt they would want that, which is why until recently, all Korean channels have remained domestic as far as I know. (I saw in the news today that SBS are going to open a global news channel, the first in S.Korea).

Wow, I just realised I wrote a wall of text in the SNSD thread. Let me fix this by adding:

Taeyeon, like a boss.

They could at least use a picture of a group that's gonna be there >_> not cool AKP. I could be wrong though.. it might be a picture of last year's KMF when Kara was there.

edit: guess I was right, heh

Ah thanks for the info Syoaran. I do know that KBS World here in the states plays variety shows. I've seen Happy Together and Star Golden Bell, but can't recall ever seeing Running Man

I'm still very disappointed that we arent getting ANY artists from the Big 3. The fuck is their problem.

In the later episodes they start labeling the music they use in the top left corner so I think they at least have permission. I forgot how early this starts but Gwang Soo's theme is a Sting song for instance (would've never known that had they not labeled it).

I've finally gone through the first 33 episodes and it looks like I'll just have to skip to 39 until iSubs gets to finishing 34-38. I really like how they keep switching up the formula/games to keep the show from becoming too structured/repetitive.

So when is SNSD expected to release a new music video for a song (or from a new album)?

I mean .. I have no problem watching the same 10 videos 50 times but ya know .. need something fresh. :)

Yonghwa is an awesome guest. He's so into it.

I already liked him from his WGM - where, let's face it, he got dealt a pretty difficult hand.

When they've finished repackaging singles for the Japanese market. End of this year, maybe.

Aren't those song titles done by the subbing team?

They do an INSANE amount of work for each episode.

http://www.isubs-squad.com/forum/topic/1379-subbing-process/

And you'll still get people expecting them to put out subs as quickly as some anime fansubbers who have maybe 20 minutes of only speech to translate.
Yeah, I read that post the first time I visited iSubs. I just didn't think they'd take the time to actually look-up the songs that are being played in the background (I went perusing around their forum after posting that last comment and found the threads were they post full episode song listings). They definitely do quality subs.
