I was unaware that the PS4 actually launched in the US until I entered this thread in the morning and witnessed Anihawk's woes. I feel like a chump henchman from a stealth game being caught so unaware, so much for me thinking that they were throwing the game reviews out early.
Addressing the point above that reminded me of said PS4, a bit of patience goes a long way, more games will of course come out in the future so just hold onto it until then? unless there's any money related issues otherwise I feel waiting it out is the most sensible option as opposed to selling and repurchasing.
Not strictly related to the above but I'm reminded of a slightly related issue that tends to crop up in the months post console launches where you no doubt get people suffering regret and even some oddly placed anger at the fact that their shiny new box isn't in constant use due to inevitable post launch doldrums, it's something I'll never quite understand like some people are constantly caught unaware of what they're getting into picking something up in the early stages or not scoping out games to look forward to in the future to justify a console purchase.
Sort of conflicted is how I feel I guess.
Isn't it just great? to think that usually the timer running out kills the player and here we appear to be fighting against it but in fact it's now its the instrument of your success in what is otherwise an unexplained never ending battle against killer rubik's cubes until you give up from tedium.
The more I think about the stage the more bemused I get, what in the bluest of blue hell were they thinking?! same thought applies to the whole Hidden Zone and its band of rejected concepts that must have snuck back in due to some rogues at Sonic Team.
The last Flicky gate is unlocked before the hidden zone though right? unless there's like an optional mission that require mass amounting of flickies to pass then this only serves to puzzle me further.

This made me check my post game impressions from the OT, I'm not even sure if I stand by what I said back then and I appear to be dancing around a point I don't want to fully address.Noi and I neglected to mention that we'd finished Puppeteer this weekend. He has loftier impressions than I do, so if he ever decides to post impressions, he could, and I'll append whatever I have to say to them.

I beat Hidden World Zone 1 in Lost World... by doing literally nothing.
*stares at victory screen in disbelief*

It's for farming flickies. You get more flickies the more cubes you beat. It never ends.
