Okay so this is a little off topic but I heard this show was inspired by shakespears Hamlet set in Central Cali, I don't know but I initially thought it is similar to MacBeth. Whats everyone's take on it?

I really don't know what's fucking wrong with this jerkoff Clay. How many wrong directions can you lead a club? In fact I'm a little incredulous that he's even been able to hold power this long... although I guess he sort of kills off opposition, doesn't he? Fucking jerk.
The other thing is, club is kind of fucked up about the no black people rule. Led our boy juice right off the deep end.
Yeah the no black rule is outdated. They address it in the show at least.
I do like that it adds yet another ambiguous element to the way we assess these values. After it, it would have been Jax old man that made those rules, right? And the original crew that voted them in, no?

as long as they don't kill my boy Opie I'm good. Opie is too good for the club. Jax is a total asshole for pulling him back in.
Frankly, I really feel they poorly handled the relationship between Opie and Tig after what happened. After a while it just didn't seem like they were raw around each other enough. Should have been lots more bad blood that lasted persistently through seasons (unless there is late in Season 4 and 5, if so don't tell me ;p)

I started watching Sons on Netflix a few weeks ago and the wife and I finally wrapped up the latest season.
How in the fuck is Clay going to survive prison with a $5 million bounty on his head?
The only arc of Sons I'd consider "soapy" was Abel's kidnapping. I enjoyed the arc all the same, but recognized that it was sort of melodramatic. I'd say it's melodrama that defines "soapiness".
